Number 4 makes my blood boil. That usually happens at work when I'm on the elevator with an extrovert or waiting for the elevator. I just wanna do my work and not be bothered. It seems like Many of them are obssessed with introverts, always trying to figure us out. The extrovert community owes introverts an apology for causing a great deal of the introverts anxiety.

Yea me is on an elevator that guy is extroverted them: starts to try and start a conversation. Me: is almost completely drained because it’s been a long day. Them: still trying to start a conversation. Me internally screams my brain IM GONNA DIE. I hate when people ask me to smile more. It makes me want to punch them to know I hate smiling. As for phone calls, I never like talking through calls. I rather have the person just text or email me. I never like talking in person, in groups, nor on a phone n general. I just want to be left alone for the rest of the day.

Why I hate phone calls? They're a big interruption!! Any job application, as soon as I see phone in responsibilities, I throw that application out. Even at home, I stay as far away from the phone as I can!

#4 isn't really ignorant questions. It's personality questions. Being ignorant about a subject is simply not knowing about that subject which makes all questions ignorant questions. This set, in particular, is about personal questions as the introvert IS the subject. We don't like personal questions unless they come from someone we care about and they're asking how were feeling or how our day was.

Most definitely smalltalk. I'm actually getting better at this, but it's taken me decades to do that. I think I've loosened up a bit with age. But I do think this kind of conversational 'skill' can be improved with practice. i.e. actively force yourself to deal with these situations. It's hard though if your natural reaction is to avoid.

The banter in a meeting but understanding it's what's needed to keep the atmosphere healthy sometimes, I just zip it. Also people telling me to smile, I just tell people I have a resting B face at that point.

This is a certain type of introvert that doesn't wear their hearts on their sleeves or face. There is the other type that does. Lol
