When I moved to Fort Worth, Texas from New Mexico, just one state over, I did not realize how big high school football was in Texas. Homecoming mums are 50+ pounds, all the universities are like cults (Texas A&M), there is always construction on the interstate, pickup trucks must be bigger, and Texas really is its own country. I married a wonderful Texas man that has manners, is kind, hard working, and likes big trucks though. Texas is now home....you are welcome any time. We can take you to the gun range by our house, we have a lot of guns, and you must experience Bucee’s!!! Bucee’s is a Texas sized truck stop/convenience store.

Sadly this isnt true (based on both US & TX flag code) BUT the TX flag actually does fly higher than Ole glory in 1 place, The Capital. But that’s only because our capital building is taller than the US Capital building meaning it does technically fly higher there.

Whether it is supposed to be allowed or not I'm from Texas I don't care. We have the natural resources and the ability to export them. If Texas was its own sovereign country It would be number the 10th largest in GDP. Beating out South Korea and Canada.

I was born in Baytown and live near Waco. I guess I'm an oddball among Texans. Maybe it's because I'm a Texas born Cajun. I don't own a gun, and I find football about as exciting as watching paint dry. I love the week or three of winter we have in Texas. But Texas summers I could do without. At least the humidity is better here in Central Texas than in Louisiana. Whenever temperatures reaches the upper 90s or triple digits I seriously consider moving to Alaska.

Texas has tons of guns because we understand the second amendment. If a foriegn people try to invade our land and hurt us we can defend our family or form a militia if needed. Also if the government gets to big and tries to take guns the same may be employed. Safety first!
