Excellent points Liz! I'm sure you've seen some "interesting" resumes 😁. And yes, PDF is best because what you send is what they get, with everything intact. Applicants need to understand that hiring managers may be using a mobile or some other device that may not have the font(s) that were used on the resume, and they're not making a good impression when what is received looks weird, or the recipient is stuck in editing mode! A table in the upper portion that breaks out the categories of the flight experience conveys a lot at a glance. A brief one-liner for each 'recent' employment activity is a nice touch, and a table for the certificates held/in progress can't hurt. Applicants connect on a deeper level when they share volunteer/community organizations with which they work, a little blurb on their academics, and maybe even some awards/distinctions. Keep up the good work!!
