Welcome to another video where we explain what tuning is and specifically what is a stage 1 tune? This is a video for beginners who just want to get into the tuning space but we are sharing our 2 cents on Stage 1, Stage 2 , Stage 3 tuning. We have tuned Skoda Octavia's in our garage and you can hear about our experience in the videos below!

Ideally would go to a mechanic for such a job it's a little tricky if you don't know what you're doing !

Yes basic tuning is definitely possible, totally depends on how much you're willing to spend

Hi bro, Your videos are awesome.. Im planning to do stage 1 remap for my skoda kushaq 1 litr.. I really wanted to have liitle more torque than what i have now.. My question is I own new car and its just 5km done, I dont want to void my warrenty as its new car but at the same time I need to increase my performance.. how can I do it? If I just leave my car to skoda service center & while they do basic check via software, will I get caught with my remap?? get me some suggestion to keep my warrenty and also help me to know on yeary general service will service center check the ECU remap in their regular checks?? thanks

You can do the remap, officially if they spot the remap then warranty is void, but you can do your first service then do the remap and then put it back to stock before the service

​@@AutoFly Thanks I have similar apprehensions too. Is changing ECU tune to remap / stock a plug and play or would it need a visit to the tuner (who might ask for charges).

I just picked up an an abarth punto. its stock, and i was thinking of just doing the exhaust. i was told the check engine light would still be on and i would need to do a few stages to have a good exhaust. can u advice? i prefer just doing the exhaust for now.

Thank you for your comment. If you go for a catback exhaust then it won't be an issue with the check engine light but if you change your downpipe then you will also have to tune your ecu. Check out our vidoe on types of exhausts if you want more information

Hi , i have a Chevy Optra Optra Magnum 2.0L 1.20lakh driven . Should i be getting a stage 2? Any problems to face in future? Approx power after stage 2 would be 127>230bhp & 305>490nm torque . Any suggestions?

Hello , yes if it is already driven so much would certainly recommend alot of care would be required for stage 2 , brakes , tyres, intake , exhaust , transmission health , gearbox health , then go for the stage 2 tune itself , but if its already driven so much we would not recommend pushing your car with a stage 2

You can run a TVS TCU stage 2+ Map to help the Dq200 handle the excess power and torque

Hello Kushal , Upgrading or changing the headlamps is independent of warranty clauses. It should not be a problem
