I opened an Etsy shop a Printify account and sold my first order. Thankfully, it was to a friend because the shirts were awful. They were a medium weight and not the cheapest. The pink heart was a peach color. The red heart had a smeared red center. The 3 valentine gnomes had a brownish red color! As I had 40+ shirts I deactivated them all until I find a better printer.

I think Printify is a great option if you sell locally, for example only in the US. Now if your clients are all over the world, Printify is the most expensive option by far because of the very expensive shipping rates of providers to far parts of the world. This is much better implemented in Gelato or Printful

Yes but printul takes so much of your profit that in the end you aren't making any money. Can't speak for gelato.

Just a friendly suggestion: Every video or after every third or fourth video, you might want to mention on your videos for people to read the comments beneath the videos more often which might help with not having to answer as many questions. But it will also help people to learn from the immensely helpful and relevant questions that are being posted by others.

What you mentioned about monster digital sending the out of stock order to someone else to fulfill. This happened to me long before print on demand existed when i started a clothing line in my early 20s, im 40 now i ordered 6 different designs in multiple color options. They were to be screen printed with flocking added to some lettering on the designs. It took the company 6 months to fulfill my order the whole time i wasnt receiving any updates. When i received them they were some of the worse prints id ever seen. none of the designs were accurately placed and the colors werent even close to what they were supposed to be. Long story short, i got on the phone and ended up dealing with the CEO directly who admited that they outsourced it to another company that said they could handle it because they were to backed up to meet the deadline they agreed to so we talked and he had the entire order redone with them covering all of it down the shipping. This took another 4 month. Needless to say the entire ordeal taught me a lot about that industry and i walked away from that venture after that one. There was a lot of money that went down the drain. Automatic order routing if this were to happen could really hurt your business.

I completely agree with you about turning off the order rerouting it's mess if you can't choose a trust print provider. It would better to have an apparel substitution program instead like Awkward Styles and printful where they let you choose what the substitute blank your customer will get incase of a stock issue. However for design placement it be easier to just download the template and just fill the box especially if they adjust it down for smaller sizes. That said great video you gave alot golden ticket info to the masses.🤘🤘🤘😃

Fabuloous, Miss Cassiy. FAAAAAAABULOUS. And I also agree, Printify is the place to go for Dropshipping and especially for t-shirts and Coffee Mugs. And for me, when I start selling t-shirts, it makes no sense for me to buy t-shirt inventory, buy the packaging, the cost of me to ship and so on, when Printify offers such a great deal on the cost of shirts, shipping and so on. However, and it might just be me, many products on Dropshipping platforms are very expensive, and to the point we are priced out of the market before we start (and by default, the Dropshipping companies price themselves out of the market for those specific items). However, there is an advantage. If you have a product that is making great sales, and we think we can make and sell the same product for 50% cheaper, I'd consider just making the product myself. And of course, the actual increase in cash revenue received will be important, (not just an increase in revenue on a percentage basis).

I would disagree that POD prices you out of the market, selling a t-shirt on Printify and charging $25 for it, makes you around 9$ in profit per item. And since you don't have to worry about printing it, you can spend your time making THOUSANDS of more designs and listings, so potentially your business is infinitely scalable! Sure in November when I sold 3,000 shirts, I could have made more profit potentially printing them myself, but the amount of hours spent ordering stock, packing and shipping, and printing those items, would have taken away from my time creating new best selling designs literally everyday of November that netted me SOOOO many more sales!! This opportunity is unbelievable and I hope you see it for what it really is!

Hello, Cassiy. I've been following your guide to list shirts just in white, gray, and black, partly to avoid a color out of stock, particularly red. Two things: 1 - My store page overall looks a bit drab, with only those colors. 2 - And now that we're in the season Christmas, should I add shirts that are red or green, if the design looks good on those?

Can you address this: Printify requires you to submit these documents for verification: your state sales tax license for each state ID number you will be using on a resale certificate, as well as your business registration license if you are using a DBA (Doing Business As) name. I like to show all variants as in stock so if the item is out of stock from that provider, I can still get an order on it and will just route to another provider to have it printed!

Hi from the UK. I've just come across your video and as I'm looking at printify and etsy at the moment this is very helpful. I put a design on a t shirt but was worried how it would look. With the help of the printify online chat I bought a sample, it arrived today. The print looks good but the t shirt is very thick, will have to look into alternatives. I have set up an account on etsy, I just have to be brave to do the next step of linking it to printify. I've never done anything like this before, a bit daunting!
