I literally just watched the episode of Ghost Island where Michael went home at the dual tribal episode, and there's a pretty huge advantage misplay here that I thought would be in this video. There were 5 people for this vote: Wendell, Laurel, Michael, Kellyn, and Dom (who won immunity). Michael was the easy target, and since he knew this, he tried to pretend that he had an idol so that Laurel/Wendell/Dom couldn't split their votes. Kellyn also had an extra vote which she had won at one of her visits to Ghost Island, and she wanted to use it at this tribal to try to take out Laurel. Since Kellyn used her extra vote, the first vote had a 2-2-1-1 split between Laurel/Michael/Wendell/Kellyn, meaning that Dom, Wendell, and Kellyn had to vote for Laurel or Michael on the revote. I was shocked with the revote because Michael was announced to have been voted out after only 2 votes had been read. This means that only 3 total revotes were cast, so Kellyn did not vote twice in the revote. When Kellyn won her advantage, she was shown saying that her extra vote would extend to the revote, so what happened? I instantly googled this, and it turns out that Kellyn forgot that she could vote twice on the revote, and that she ended up only casting 1 vote. If she had voted twice for Laurel as she was entitled to do, then (assuming that a unanimous decision could not be made) Wendell and Kellyn would have gone to rocks. So there was a 50% chance that the person who won could've been knocked out at final 9, and this didn't happen because Kellyn simply forgot how her advantage worked.

@@ms.cellaneous4380 I was thinking about this a little bit more, and I could imagine that production might have thought that Kellyn wanted to concede the tiebreak to make Michael go home, especially since Kellyn voted for Michael on the revote. Like production might've thought that Kellyn was on the fence about forcing the 2nd tie, since she would have a 50% chance of going home if she forced the tie, and that she ended up deciding not to tie it up again. So if production saw 3 votes, all for Michael, they wouldn't necessarily need to tell Kellyn that she could vote again if she wanted to. If they had done something like that, it might have made her change her vote and could possibly have turned into another Stacey Stillman incident. But yea, you'd think that it would've been okay for Jeff to say something like "if the person who used the extra vote is still eligible to vote in the revote, they may still cast 2 votes." That could've led to some great reactions, and hopefully another tie vote.

Kellyn not casting the Extra Vote at the revote has been discussed before on this channel. There is no reason to cast it, because it needlessly risks the tribe going to rocks.

The moral of the story is this. If you ever get an extra vote or steal a vote, you might be better off throwing it in the fire! If you choose to keep it though, just don’t tell anyone about it. Sarah’s move of voting Sierra out to get the legacy advantage was a beautiful and brilliant move! Cerie’s move would have been maybe one of the greatest moves in history if she could play the steal a vote.

Sarah never misplayed it. The second Cirie tried to use it Sarah stared explaining(the exact same time as Jeff did) Cirie cannot play it, because it is not transferable. It was a beautiful play of texting trust and at the same time Sarah was protected, so nothing could go wrong for her, if Cirie end up READING the advantage, she would have known that Sarah was protected, Cutie’s look pretty much tells how she thought she is so about to be on top, but was strikes out of nowhere when she got what was happening

I just finished Game Changers for the first time. It was a very uneven season. And all I can say is that 5 out of 6 people being ineligible to receive votes really shows that too many advantages were in play.

I got an idea for an advanced I would say I had if I ever went to exile. I would tell people I have something that when played, reverses all votes against me. Then, all players who voted for me draw rocks to accept my votes. It’s too overpowered to be an actual advantage but would make a great bluff.

For the first one even if Dan put two votes of Sierra, the go to a review and it’s another tie with Rodney and Will voting Sierra and Mike and Carolyn voting Dan. It would be deadlock and because Mike and Carolyn have immunity that would mean either Mike and Will go to rocks or let Dan go like in Cambodia with Keith and kimmi

It was not worth it I much rather have the auction back then advantages and Survivor even though hot take I actually like the advantages as long as they're not oversaturated but I think they should do what they do in Australian Survivor and that is hide idol Clues and clues to advantages inside of the auction items like have a jar of jelly beans and hide an advantage clue inside of the jar of jelly beans or have somebody get a plate of spaghetti and hide an extra vote in the cutlery you can also at the beginning of the auction before it has even started tell people that the max bid for an advantage or an idol will be $200 that way they know they have $300 to play with before the advantage of the Idol comes and I think it makes it more interesting because I think everyone will save $200 for an advantage and then we get to watch everyone draw rocks just so one person can have an advantage
