While I do at least partially agree with the sentiment and am 100% on board with a complete ban on photographic depictions of such situations, since the production of such material requires getting an actual underage subject involved in such a situation, I am always wary when it comes to the discussion regarding banning fictional artworks, because of the precedent it sets and the slippery slope it could create to banning other fictional subjects. I don't want to give anyone a carte blanche to dictate what artists can and cannot draw, regardless of how disgusting the subject is. Edit to add: Today it's fictional children, tomorrow: depicting politicians or other government members in any way that is less than flattering? There are certain countries today where drawing something like that could get you either jailed or straight up executed. That is NOT the kind of sentiment I want imported.

Just to point out the flipside of this... protecting the public from temptation. Sharia law, that forces women to remain in a burning building because they lost their head covering, for moral reasons.
