I don’t know much about motorhomes but in my 4x4 I always let out air. Down to 10 psi. Makes a fatter tyre at the base, slightly better weight spread and more grip.

Hi Ed yes you're right. We were offered that advice too although in the heat of the moment, much like the jack, we just didn't think about it. It's funny how your mind goes blank under stress. Thank you x

2:59 that long plank is pretty much guaranteed to flip up as you come off it, even on concrete sometimes & definitely on anything softer. Always put planks across & drive in the middle of them.

If you have enough planks...

@@chrisvdh4879 you need 3 or 4 for each axle you need to support, 1 under the wheel, 1 to drive onto, 1 popping out the back & if they're very narrow you'll have 2 under the wheel. If you have lots you can make a road.
