I now do my somatics before bed every night, and I sleep better, I wake up better, and I cope better throughout the day. It's now part of my life. Thank you, Colm !!!

I'm always closing my eyes to feel more relaxed while listening to your instructions in the video. Good thing to know it's better to do it like this😊. Thank you for all what you share with us.

You're most welcome. It feels intuitively good right? Keep practicing and thanks for watching.

@LearnSomatics yesterday, I did three videos on rotator cuff, and arms unlock exercises. Wow, they worked amazingly on my arm pain. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us🙏🏼💜

I used to join an evening class online 8.15pm. I would close my eyes but fall asleep 😂I do your exercises of a morning whilst awake so closing my eyes isnt so bad then :)

Are breathing tips needed?

There’ll be a video next week that covers breathing

I wanna ask after how many hours of eating we can practice
@LearnSomatics11 ай бұрын
I'd say at least an hour. Especially if it's a big meal. But let your own comfort be your guide. If you lay down and think you need a bit longer, take that time.

I always remind myself to go slow especially when i don't have much time in the morning

You might want to share about activities that people have been helped with or things that people have done or you have done in hindering our pain relief. Or Is that too broad of a subject ?
@LearnSomatics2 жыл бұрын
So when you say hindering, you mean mistakes people make when practicing?
@cinmac32 жыл бұрын
No I think after my brain/body connection gets better, I progress. The moves I just did for the rotator cuff helped, but, my actions with my hips, shoulders, waist, etc, may be creating new problems for me. I wonder if I need more insight into the inner connections that may address issues in my body.

So Somatic improves mind muscle connection?
@cinmac32 жыл бұрын
I feel it somewhat for me with lots of practice, Star.
@LearnSomatics2 жыл бұрын
Yep, it will improve the mind muscle connection for sure. And also your ability to relax your muscles.

I've need more practice in relaxing my mind, I do sometimes hours a day with the Somatic practice. I have felt completely good, at times.
