The slow practice is truly important. When I was learning this I would lose the technique half way through, and the slow practice forces me to focus.

Thank you so much for the explanation! When dancing as a follow however, how do you distinguish if you’re supposed to do a body wave or a body roll? If it’s not a simple answer, could you do a video on that? Thank you ever so much :)

It all depend on the leader, if its a body wave you will feel your balance going forwards and backwards, if its a body role you will be not moving and will feel preparation on the spot 😊
