Really well done, Alex. Agree completely. By far this is what I struggle with the most.

Very nice video! Very useful information and yes, things I didn't realize when I started to take photos, but now I begun more and more think of it when I'm on the field (like : what is the main subject, the mood....). Your video helped me to be more aware about things when I'm on the field

thanks a lot! the question of what to start editing with seems to be kind of ephemeral and it is realy difficult to anser it in a structured way. realy enjoyed your consistent approach in figuring it out. btw, the new logo in the beginning is pleasant.

Hey thanks for the compliment Sergei! I completely agree. It was challenging to structure this type of thing and honestly something I had to reflect a lot on to do so.

Thank you for the video Alex, You did a very good job at explaining the complexity of editing a photograph, and that there is no 1 way of doing it. Your photos shown here are great. if there was anything that I was to disagree with, would be the edit on your Hallstatt image with regards to the brighter areas and darker areas. I would actually flip your choices to the opposite meaning I would prefer the bottom left to be darker, and have the mountains on left to be brighter. My eye keeps getting distracted to the highlight of the greenery on the bottom left, and I wish I could see more of the mountains on the left. However; when you said the areas on the left is darker (mountains) to contrast the important part, highlighted side of the mountain stand out more... That is 100% of agreeance there :) Thank you once again :)

Balancing those leaves at the bottom wasn't easy. I wanted them visible enough to be seen but also not distracting. Tough edit for sure! Thanks a lot Henry

Your videos are super helpful! One thing I've noticed after watching several videos though is that you sometimes refer to other videos you published and point to where the video link is supposed to appear - but it never does. You usually point into an empty corner so I guess the video links were removed at some point? Or is it some setting I have turned off? It's a little frustrating

Oh dang. Maybe i forgot? Maybe they stopped working? Are you watching on a TV or something?

I'm at a point right now with my photography where I just hate all of my work and want to delete it all lol. I'm sure it's just a phase but I just look at my work and I hate the composition, I hate the the exposure, I hate my editing, I just am not satisfied with anything and it's pissing me the hell off. I think one big point about taking photos and editing them is do you actually like the photo, or are you just taking it and editing it and sharing it for the sake of doing so. Just in a weird funk right now. Hope I can find a way to like my work again.

I've been there. I still look at photos and close the app because it's not sitting with me right. Maybe take a break and come back to them in a week or two.
