Now that you've been to a show, maybe you're getting the itch to set up as a dealer! Here are some things you might consider kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWjYZHhrqtFmmMUsi=t0K_aWJDAk9VEVbe

This is a refreshing presentation. Your speaking style is excellent, and you've obviously prepared well. One tweak I would add to #5: If you attend a more general craft show or fair, where card and comic collectibles are only one part of the mix, you will find vendors there readier to accept credit and debit cards. This is simply because of the show's ambience and the expectations of the attendees.

This showed up in my recommended again today, so decided to watch it again! Your comment on people checking comps at a table and how only a few years ago it would be considered rude. It was actually timely! I just got done watching a video from someone buying cards inside a store and then setting them all aside to comp and thought the same exact thing 😂😂

Great advice. So true, some people will say "but the last sale was $$$?" but that card centering is way off or damaged 👌Good stuff

Great video, attending my first show this weekend. Is there a go-to app that you use to pull up comps?

@@BaileyABerry eBay is generally fine for liquid stuff and also the 130point website. CardLadder is awesome for sales history but it requires a subscription

The point of a vendor not having to pay eBay/Paypal fees is pretty much moot. Because the buyer is also not having to pay sales tax. Which in my state is almost 10%. They basically cancel each other out.

Taking my son to our first show this weekend, this vid helps a ton but I'm still unsure. My son has organized a binder of cards he's willing to trade, but I assume we'll be buying moreso than trading given that we've only been collecting for about 3 years and I have only bought blasters so nothing too rare. Would you even bother bringing cards of this caliber or am I overthinking it?

@@CBarber22 if it's just common stuff, it's probably not worth taking. But you can always do a lap with it and take it out to the car if needed. Good luck and have fun!

I think that you shouldn't buy to the last hour of a show. Brings about the desperate Sellers and you get crazy deals. For instance at the last show I went to I was offered dollar boxes between $40 to 80 each. Came home with three of them.

That's definitely a strategy to consider. Probably better for bulk lots like you mentioned. Congrats on the nice score!!!

What's with the dude flipping off the camera. Jeez how can people have such a lack of control of their own bodies. Imagine being the dude thinking "omg that guy is filming f him" and then taking your hand out your pocket and flipping bird. Dude's gotta be like 60 he should know better? Good vid Kyle thanks for sharing.
