You still actually need to try the PP in that scenario cause then you can do something about the DR, otherwise he will likely force you to hold it.

Good stuff as always. Nothing I didn't already know but I'm sure it was helpful for others. Keep up the great work! One thing I'll add since I'm seeing comments from people saying they didn't know about the perfect parry OS, if you perfect parry against a zoner from further out you can input a forward jump instead of sweep. A lot of zoners, especially at lower levels, will immediately follow up a projectile with another projectile. If you happen to get the jump after the perfect parry you would basically get a free jump in on your opponent for big damage. This is often referred to as the perfect parry jump OS. You're welcome

you can also ex dp or fast supers drive rushes on defense, hard to react with dp but most reliable

the thing with that is the drive rush freezing your input, so you have to do the dp motion cleanly or after the screen freeze, if you do while it happens your dp won't come out

@@oopalonga when the person doing the drive rush starts the animation and he gets green, the frame freezes and any motion you do while the screen is kind of greyish don't fully come out right (in cases when you stumble on another button)... you must have some memory of doing the full motion to dp or special and it fails

Wait the Input delay option thing.....you didn't mention....is good to have it OFF or ON? I currently have it off, I not sure I never heard if this is good or not, I think I saw a video recommending turning that off but here in your video you let it ON, so what is it...I have the game in PS4 not 5 so is good or not, I'm so damn confuse about this now....also great sequences when CAMMY get punish.....I mean is not like she is negative in almost ANYTHING SHE TOSS can you give us a BONE and do the OPPOSITE sequences with Cammy she is plus or how to punish that damn target combo os Luke I swear Lukes loop this and nothing I toss WORKS...so Mura please how to punish LUKE, gief, honda )not headbutt....his target normals into thousand hands...etc....I will deeply appreciate it as a FAN.....instead of more videos bodied CAMMY.

Input delay reduction option being turned to on will make the game be more responsive but you get screen tearing. To fix that tearing, you need to run the game on a 120+Hz monitor instead of 60Hz.

i use old crt pc monitor, there is no input lag from this kind of monitors, and is dirt cheap.

My problem with my main Ken is while playing neutral I’m constantly blocking low and it’s hard to check jump ins with my dp. Can somebody pls tell me how to deal with this and maybe how to do dp from crouch block

There's a "shortcut". When you're holding down-back press down-forward -> down-back -> down-forward punch. Make sure you finish the input in down-forward and not forward. It's the most consistent way to get a Shoryu from that position.

It's actually pretty optimal and fairly easy to punish jump ins from crouch with DP. Just gotta focus on that and practise for a while. Maybe loop a recording of the training dummy jumping at you at different intervals. There's a shortcut you can do which is df, d, df + p to DP while crouching. While crouching, your hurtbox is a lot lower, and the damage from DP is greater when it hits earlier in the animation. So that's why DP from crouching is optimal.

@@MCMuraFGC the mechanics are too different from what I am used to(which would be MK and Injustice mechanics), the characters are too overpowered and there is for some weird reason no block button like in Injustice games that “opens the door” for annoying cross ups! I hate myself for buying it as if I have money to burn
