Thanks, This is my favorite video. So practical and wise. I will never be a positive type person but I can make incremental steps in that direction. Another good .ip is to slow down, physically and mentally. It impedes the fight or flight syndrome from getting carried away.

Hi, its Angie here! Thank you so much Martin! Naturally I had to show my husband and kids this video. I have worked out a deal with them. I am going to pay them $1 every time they catch me saying "a glass half empty" statement for 3 weeks. They will then ask me for the "glass half full statement". In 3 weeks I will let you know how much it cost me per week.

7 days into my experiment and my husband caught me with 9 glass half full statements. Interestingly though I never said any of these statements in front of my children. Now obviously I still think glass half full statements in the presence of of my children, I just don't say them.

My experiment has came to an end. I think my husband has forgotten to remind me that I am thinking negatively, as no loonies ($1) have exchanged cups . However last week was a week of progress as I am more conscious of what I am thinking about.

Great video! I like how you pointed out the reasons for glass half empty thinking. And how you set realistic expectations of how much change is possible but also said that it's okay to never become a glass half full person. Thank you very much!

Great video, can you please share some tips for people who are very sensitive to bodily sensation and panic even with slightest variations.

I am remaking my panic attacks series into one video. It will cover the causes (such as slight variations) and how to deal with panic attacks and much more.

Great thanks! Do you have any tips on how to sleep well , no vivid bad dreams and waking up etc. Meditation before sleeping , no cell phones way before sleep etc any other tips? Maybe u have a clip on this. I think if you don’t fix your thoughts and change some of your habits no matter what supplements u take nothing works

I don't have anything like that yet but I do have a sleep hypnosis video kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIKxd6eFbcqpoNk

@@TheAnxietyAttic any tips on how to manage the thoughts which come up non stop? Thank u very mich

Are these intrusive thoughts associated with OCD or just negative thoughts in general?
@AleG-m4i7 ай бұрын
@@TheAnxietyAttic health anxiety yes. Non stop thoughts about this. I guess best tip is to do just nothing, problem is when u keep searching what to do to get better or what to take , the brain perceives danger and this goes into a circle, so I would say “do nothing “. No Google no nothing… if u have a clip on this would be great, and tips on what to do as routine when u wake up in morning, and in day. Just in case u have something like this would be grway

@@AleG-m4i Yes the short answer is do nothing. When you accept the thoughts without acting on them they lose their power and come less frequently. You will find lots of videos with this message for health anxiety in my health anxiety playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLLLHgjmNNVTF5PT0N3sTulqL2JOfggva5 . Reference routines, these are not really the solution. Often the things you try to try to stop anxiety (e.g. planning) just make it worse. I talk a little about this in my morning anxiety video kzbin.info/aero/PLLLHgjmNNVTF5PT0N3sTulqL2JOfggva5

Your accent is attractive but as an American... It's not working for me in terms of compatibility. I have to focus to much on your voice. It's not helpful for me. I just want to relax and listen. Your accent is distracting.
