Happy Jase customer here. One thing I did is individually vacuum seal each bottle with oxygen absorbers to protect my investment (and potentially the life of a loved one). Since they come from the pharmacy, they don’t come sealed for long term storage.

I have been a nurse for twenty years. I get the daily pharmacy report and it gets longer every year. I was so irritated that after twenty years in medicine and rarely getting sick, that when I got really sick the medication I needed wasn’t available and my doctor couldn’t get it due to supply and demand issues. This was at a major city hospital too.

I am writing notes on my Jase Emergency Antibiotic Guide from Dr Rowland's talk. Bought this past year through Provident Prepper's recommendation/site for my husband and myself. Used one dose already and it was fast and effective. So thankful to have these stored in a cool, dry, dark place. I too would treasure eye antibiotic drops or oinment for pink eye/common eye infections. Thank you, thank you.

In this case, the greatest blessing we were "given" was 30+ years ago and my husband was allergic to the very last antibiotic we tried. He was officially allergic to them all. So... that put me on a different path and I HAD to learn something different. Many blessings were put in my path and I learned homeopathy, essential oils, herbs,etc. So many things out there to use. (Alma 46:40) I'm so glad this doctor was able to start this business to help so many people. Thank you.

I am also beginning to study these, also the East Indian Ayurveda Ancient Healing practices using natural herbs, etc. I discovered a book on Amazon with the Ancient Herbal Healing practices. For North America I think this is vital. Common plants pretty much. Have to take note which tribe was located in what area prior to the Reservations as they used the "native" plants in their homelands.

I'll check them out! Husband and I both had severe reactions to fluoroquinolone (excruciating tendon pain), and my son is certified allergic to the penicillin groups. I'd rather have sulfamethoxazole trimethoprim on hand (none of us ever had any reactions to it). Thank you and Jase Medical for finding a solution for treating illnesses in an SHTF scenario!
@felsinferguson1125
@felsinferguson1125 2 жыл бұрын
As someone with horses, I've found that when one of 'em has something going on that needs an antibiotic, SMZ/TMP (sulfamethoxazole trimethoprim) is frequently what gets prescribed as a first-round attempt at a fix. I've also done some reading to find out that it's a wide-spectrum antibiotic that gets prescribed for, and works fine in, humans, so long as you don't overdo it - 1 tab twice a day is about the limit, or you start risking kidney problems. Like any "high-powered" antibiotic (Even though it's not really considered to be one of the "big guns"), if you're using it, it's a real good idea to add one of the "live" yogurts like old-school "Dannon", or any of the various "live culture" probiotics to your diet for at last a week or so - SMZ/TMP plays hell with your gut-bugs, so you often end up curing whatever infection you're using it for, but end up with a case of the runs (and don't get me started on the gas ) that can be miserable-making for anywhere from a couple of days to a week or more after you finish the treatment, thanks to your "good guy" intestinal bacteria getting clobbered along with the "bad guys".
@gsdalpha1358
@gsdalpha1358 2 жыл бұрын
@@felsinferguson1125 Adding a probiotic (like Dannon) is a good idea after ANY antibiotic regimen. It helps I love morning yogurt mixed with a crunchy cereal 🙂 You make a very wise (and experienced) comment - thank you!

Dr. Roger Seheult on KZbin channel Medcram had a lot of good advice at the beginning of covid. He said to take a nice long hot shower at first symptoms. You body is fighting something by having a fever, give it a boost. Nov 2021 I got it and did just that. Next day I drove to a testing center for my positive test then went to the office (there by myself, our own building) to do some paperwork. Husband got symptoms next day. He really felt horrible but after his hot shower he leaf blew the whole yard.

Yeah, except….you have to match the antibiotic you use to the bacteria…there are many, many subtypes and in a SHTF situation, you could take your whole stock and have NONE actually match the organism you are infected with….leading to nothing but side effects, no benefit and more antibiotic resistance. Having antibiotics everywhere (just because people expect them, even if not helpful) is a huge path to making bacteria antibiotic resistant and hurting everyone. It is a terrible idea (also a physician). In medicine, concierge is slang for “sell out who put money above sound medical advice to give people what they think sounds good, but that may actually do harm or be worthless.” It is why many celebrities end up with terrible care, or plastic surgery…because they only go to physicians who tell them what they want to hear for money.”

Such good information thank you for sharing it helps me to plan for the future as I have real concerns about meds. Ive been trying to research for alternatives in case stuff happens but one of my biggest concerns has been antibiotics in case of infections. My father passed from sepsis when he got a small cut on a finger it was to late for antibiotics to work and we had access, I worry if there are none available if things happen the smallest illness will no longer be small. So thank you both and the good Dr for the information

@Linda Crawford I had a terrible reaction to Cipro not just once but twice. After 2 half tablets for a urinary tract infection I was in so much pain in my legs I couldn't walk. It was prescribed after surgery to repair a broken femur, the 2nd time while I was in the hospital, though I had told them I couldn't have it. My mouth tongue and my whole upper body broke out in hives. Of course, they immediately stopped the Cipro, and I recovered from the reaction.

Regarding eye infections: the East Indian ancient practice of Ayurveda has used honey for centuries. Since there are so many chemicals and GMO plants, I strongly suggedt using ONLY Manuka Honey. I do not understand how honey can be certified organic when they can not limit where the bees fly to collect the pollen, unless they are under a dome. Am I wrong? The Ayurveda says to boil 1 cup of water, add 5 teaspoons of honey. Mix til dissolved. OR it can be added to 1 cup of warm sterile saline solution. It can applied to around or IN the eye. It has been proven to be effective against: PINK EYE, Blepharitis, which inflammation and swelling of the eyelids, Corneal ulcers , which some actually healed and dissappeared and keratoconjunctibitis which is dry corneas. All the info is on the internet.

If there ever a real emergency with it, and help is most certainly not on the way, it might be worth your while to have looked into tinctures of cayenne pepper, and feverfew, either as a dried herb or as a tincture. Feverfew is a natural source of quinine, so that might be good to know. They are easy to make and act quickly, almost dirt cheap, and are good for a year to ten years, depending on your choice of solvent.But they do take 4 to 6 weeks to make, as they need lots of time just sitting. You can speed it along to a few hours, but the best quality is supposed to be for the ones that sit for weeks. I hope you never need this, but if you do, I sure hope it solves the problem in short order.

I needed a refill on the Z-pack, because I needed it for A bronchial infection. I called the pharmacy on the med. They gave me a toll free number to Jase to reorder the med. It cost me $40 for a refill of the Z-pak and that included shipping. Worth every dollar!

This is a great option since it is safer than using the pet varieties. One concern is knowing if you have a bacterial infection versus fungal. Down here in AZ, Valley Fever (fungal respiratory infection) is common for people and pets. The symptoms of Valley Fever are very similar to regular respiratory infections and if not treated can be deadly. You need a strong anti fungal prescription to treat Valley Fever or aggressive treatment course. I can see someone mistaken their respiratory infection and not get the correct course of treatment. I actually know someone who died of it in Oregon after they returned from a visit from AZ. Would be nice to have ab anti fungal as an option with this pack.

Will Jase fill our current prescriptions? We worry we may not get them in a few months; such as Synthroid, Metropolol, Paxil ER, and others. My son has Afib and needs medication to live. The situation we are in is frightening. Thank you so much for posting and providing great resources!! ❤❤❤

I did enjoy his information. I do have the kit so I don’t need to win one somebody else should get it. Actually, I have a spare, so I have it for another location. But I’ve also because I do travel out of the country some I do have other items but she’s probably has in this kit. Because my original doctor said I want you to know exactly what you’re getting and not not know in a foreign country so I was happy for him. I always seem to get UTIs and because I’m a diabetic and I don’t have the symptoms I don’t know I get it. I have been in the hospital four times now I have figured out if my sugars go crazy I have a test that I can take and then I know go ahead and take the antibiotics for that sore I would like to have that around for emergency. Which is in his kit, but I also have some. But I get more than I think I should but that’s not good. However, my pastor did teach me because my dog got a UTI so she is now on antibiotics also. So she said runs in the family not really with the dog in the human but getting my dog taken care of.

I am an ER physician with 30+ years experience. While Doxy will treat some strains of MRSA (a type of staph skin infection), there are strains that are resistant. Having Bactrim and Clindamycin on hand would be important. In addition, Clinda is excellent for dental infections. Bactrim can also be used to treat UTIs. Keflex can be used for non-MRSA skin infections. Overall, I think the Jase kit is a good starting point. Staying clean would be key in a SHTF situation. Hibiclens is an excellent soap that is very bactericidal (kills virtually all skin bacteria) and is available in a foam. Having lots of triple antibiotic ointment would also be helpful. Research the World Health Organization’s recipe for oral rehydration in the setting of severe gastroenteritis (vomiting, diarrhea). Easily accessible ingredients, potentially life saving.

@@PrayerOpensDoor Sounds great! Something we didn’t anticipate is that the exact same meds that are prescribed here in the US are actually more expensive in Canada! You will see this reflected in the Canadian pricing. It’s not that we are trying to make more money off our neighbors in Canada, it’s that for some reason your country’s generic medications cost significantly more than ours.
