The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt, no offense. I agree. A financial advisor can really help you re-adjust and identify blindspots that you yourself do not notice, like mine did in advising me during COVID on how the pandemic will shape things, and I made it out big and still make up to at least 20k in dividend per month.

I have SCHG, SCHD, and SCHX (not on this video). SCHX is the largest percent held in my IRA followed by G then D. I've had these positions in my IRA since May 2023. I've been thinking of dumping SCHX and SCHD, and going all in SCHG. I'm 62 and retired, don't foresee needing to tap into the IRA for years.

The longer you go out the Qs will beat the SCHG. Consider QQQM as the fee is lower than the traditional QQQ. Of note to observe is the starting for both funds.

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direction I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.
@Michaelsun-z8k9 күн бұрын
I’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance.
@wood-e9s9 күн бұрын
The truth is, the role of an investment advisor can often be overlooked but should never be underestimated. After facing a significant portfolio loss in 2020 during the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I decided to reach out to an investment advisor. At that time, I had about $126K left in my portfolio. Now, without having to lift a finger, I'm semi-retired, working only 7.5 hours a week, and I'm just 15% short of my $1 million retirement goal thanks to my subsequent investments.

My CFA is ASHLEY GARNER ABBOTT, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did

Excellent share! Curiously inputted Ashley Garner Abbott on the web, spotted her consulting page ranked top, and was able to schedule a call session. I've seen commentaries about advisors, but not one looks this phenomenal.

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing below the $100k mark and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $234,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest a huge percentage of my profit and it got more interesting.! For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home at the beginning of summer.

Can someone explain why SCHD should be in my portfolio. The NAV drops, the dividends is ok, outside of that I'm not sure what it offers thats so astounding. I just dont get it.
@nicks624311 күн бұрын
You have to consider something called yield on cost (YOC)- schd has insane dividend growth this means although it says 4% dividend etc after 20 years of compounding your true yield on cost is actually closer to 20% dividend (because the stock you bought 20 years ago that gave you 1$ per share now gives you 8$- example)
@nicks624311 күн бұрын
This is why dividend growth is sometimes more important than a high dividend unless u need cash now

High dividend yield usually means the stock price is stagnant. Low yield with large increases is the way to go for long term investing. If the dividend payment is getting increased 10-20% every year, and the yield is still less than 1%, that means the stock price is also on a tear. It's a different animal than trying to find the next stock that's going to have a 20,000% share price increase over the next 10 years, though, and which one you are after depends on where you are in life, what your investing style is, and how far down the line you're planning for the future.

My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimisation. Large changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. But in general, ETF or not, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I want to invest about $60k but I'm not so confident about my abilities yet.
