I have a 3 fund portfolio but I have finally decided to invest in ETFs, alongside. I am looking at SCHD, VGT, and XLK OR SCHG.

Nice picks! I like SCHG and XLK equally!

@@So.ladylike thank you! Actually would it be silly to have both?

Not necessarily though there is a fair amount of overlap but that’s not necessarily a negative. I believe having a well diversified portfolio is much more lucrative, this approach has gotten my ~$120k initial startup to 5 times its value in earned dividends

That's some fascinating returns, my experience investing hasn't been a pleasant one, even with a strong background in economics I am struggling to make sense of the market.

In my opinion, you'd want to buy what you understand while keeping it simple, I am lucky enough to work with *Lina Dineikiene* ,a reputable CFA, understanding it's no game of luck and the need for experience and appropriate research would get you on the right side of the market. Don't try to shoot the lights out taking unnecessary risks.

You recommended FLIN a while back for some India exposure, any thoughts on how it compares to INDA? I see a bit more upside with FLIN on expense and yield.

SCHD, SCHG, SCHH and NVIDIA for me! I’m think of selling my NVIDIA to buy more SCHD, any advice for an over 40 male adult late bloomer?

I've heard 1 person talk about Fidelity FYSD ETF and it has a higher yield rate than anything I can find and it's a 30 day yield. Why isn't it talked about more
@vikjhaveri10919 күн бұрын
Isn’t there a big overlap between these ETFs?
@jtrautman10117 күн бұрын
There is with the dividend ETFs. I’d pick one in my portfolio

As a passive investor, is it wise to buy market tracking index funds and ETFs from companies like Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street, even when they're at all time highs? i want to invest around 600k for retirement

I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.

Accurate asset allocation is crucial, I used hedging strategies to allocate part of my portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Sonia Nunes Demelo" for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
