I know that after that long of a time the chances of finding the person who did it are pretty close to 0 but it would have at least given the family and the police who worked the case the truth about what happened, even though it's information the family would probably struggle a lot with.

Well I mean chances are that person who killed Brian wouldn’t face any charges since statute of limitation is a thing and even if the statute of limitation wasn’t up chances are the person who killed Brian is dead or a senior citizen approaching their death. The person who was telling the first story was probably traumatized from the whole situation and in a attempt to cope he makes up scenarios to help him deal with the guilt. Whenever I held a party, I knew everyone. Plus ones would have to introduce them to me. All keys were tagged and placed in a pillow case to be hidden. Places to sleep were also given out if nobody wanted to leave their cars. If someone went missing for a long time, I went in search of them to make sure they didn't fall or needed to go to a hospital. As a host/hostess it is your responsibility to make sure they safe.

Well they were told it was an accident and probably accepted that because they didn't know about the guy who was chasing kids around the neighborhood. They will never be able to identify the suspect after all this time so the parents are probably better off thinking it was an accident 😢

One Halloween I took my daughter and her 2 friends trick or treating in this really nice neighborhood and the houses were all totally decked out like really amazing decorations it was a super busy street tons of people there. We went all the way down the street which was very very long. Suddenly I realized we had went down pretty far and the houses around us were all dark. These houses definitely weren't participating in handing out candy. We could see everyone down the street but we were in the dead part. We realized it and turned to walk back and I swear I saw a dark figure hiding by a house. I wasn't sure if it was a decoration but where I saw it was definitely not one. I told them omg is that a man standing over there and they all said ew it looks kinda like one and we all ran off screaming and running it was so creepy I'll never forget that night.
