I loved the 4th story!!! It honestly gives me some faith in humanity to finally hear of a story of a truly evil person getting what they deserve. I applaud those women for when the law refused to protect them they dealt with the problem and protect themselves and future victims.

I guess it would be nice in some ways to be so naive to think that's all fiction, but it would be a hell of a slap in the face when you find out the truth.

Well, sometimes, people can only handle so much. And honestly, I don’t fault them for what they did. Was it violent? Yes. Was it uncalled for? No. Because what he did to all those that he terrorized, raping and killing, for his crimes, the punishment is death. There are only a few times I would ever accept vigilantism, and that is one of those times. When the law doesn’t protect individuals, then those individuals will have all the rights to do what they have to do to survive. Sure, they could’ve tried to leave, but I doubt that would’ve changed the outcome for the rest of those there.

I feel bad for the vigilante in the first, obviously from an outsider perspective, it's his Daughters responsibility to not use drugs. But if you think of it from a father's perspective, he was doing what he thought was right.

For the policemen in that Indian case: who allowed those men to torment and murder; who laughed when akku threatened to rape a victim again; who gang raped a woman again after she came to report her gang rape . . . I am not ashamed to say I hope karma plagues their (and the other perpetrators’) lives. And when they die, I hope hell is real and that it’s hotter than the sun.

First of all, you cannot tell the future and aditionally, you do not know that some of those individuals may not change thier ways or what have you. The truth is that you HOPE that they will face judgement and have faith that they will, based on infromation you feel that you have. I inevitably fall asleep during the first story and have to repeat the process the next day... The problem I have is when I fall asleep my autoplay runs through like 3-4 of his videos then I can't remember which ones I've actually listened to and which ones I slept through

Me too!!! First of all I listen to these videos on my phone going to bed and his relaxing voice puts me to sleep in a good way but I'm still interested in the story but I fall asleep. Next I have to rewatch or listen again at work 4 in the morning with my AirPods and that's when I can fully work in a relaxed peace of mind listening and it's awesome. Sometimes if the stories are really good I'll listen to them again with my wife taking a nap. Let's Read is the best and you always make my day and get me through my day at work. Thank You for your great voice and awesome content from your folks that send you stories . I have a few horror scary stories myself so I might send you some soon.

While I agree with the sentiment in the 2nd story, at the end. In the end of the day, if those who will voluntarily, and uncaringly, they take another person’s life, or assault, beat, or rape another person, and the law doesn’t do anything to stop them from doing it again, especially if it did go to a law trial and they were let out, or got off of the charges somehow, then they deserve to be punished. Call it cruel. Call it inhumane. Call it vigilante justice. Whatever. All I’d care about, if it were my own hurt or harmed, physically or mentally, then my own goal would be to see that person hurt, just like my friend or family member was hurt by them.
