First, let's talk about review, reviews can be a deal-breaker with Turo because they not only dictate who rents your car, but they can also be a deciding factor in whether or not you stay on the platform. Not many people know but you can actually get Turo reviews removed under a few circumstances, let's talk about how.

Next, let's talk about some hacks that will save you time and energy when dealign with customer support, both over the phone and via their customer support chat.

Next is cancellations, cancellations are never good, but sometimes they are unavoidable. Traditionally when a host cancels a trip, Turo fines the host and leaves a negative review on their profile, but there are a few ways around this in some circumstances.

Do you have tips on how to avoid trip cancellations. I have had two guests cancel trips for no reason. this is a big problem especially for started with only one car. If a guests bookes a car from May 1st to 15 and then cancells before the first, that means all the possible trips that you could've had booked from that same period will affect you. Cuz obviously the person that cancelled had the car booked and didn't end up booking it!

Thought I was big-time with my 800 trips and wouldn't learn anything, but I did not know about the my support tickets feature! Thank you! That last tip is one I have used extensively this year. I have 4 of my 11 cars on snooze with habitual extenders right now. Awesome way to reduce my workload.

Maybe you have some pull with Turo, but under the same circumstances I did not get a bad review removed. Fortunately, has several other 5 star reviews that did not hurt me last quarter. But so far I tried twice and never had it removed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Awesome tips! Thank you very much On the extender tip it's hard to tell if they going extended for 3rd time even if guest doesn't know so I don't snooze fine line from missing out on future bookings,just my thinking. I'm still a new Host, I can try to send guest another of my vehicle links ?

If you have a hard time getting bookings than snoozing isn’t ideal- but if your cars are pretty booked out it shouldn’t have too much of an effect. Another option could be just blocking the calendar for a short period after the rental, or sending guest extension reminders

What is your thoughts of Government entities trying to Ban Turo. In Hawaii they have a State Bill in The House to BAN ride sharing such as Turo! What an abuse of power!

Have you needed to contact Turo to resolve an issue in a while? They have made it near impossible to speak to an actual person or chat for any reason. This makes trying to resolve claims quite difficult at times when the assigned agent is unresponsive. The chat bot is quite unhelpful as well. Any advice here?

You will need a true insurance policy - turo is technically not providing you insurance they are providing you with a “protection package” and this will not be adequate for what is required by law

Great video, on minute 7:00 there’s a workaround to canceling a trip. Call the guest and try to have them cancel it for you.

You can take pics of the engine bay, but to be honest this is one of those things that can happen but isn’t likely. Keeping trackers on the car can help - if a car is sitting too long or is in a shop you can be aware of that which could possibly prevent this from happening. But this is very rare and hasn’t been something I’ve been concerned with

Good video ,good topics, But ☝️from experience, i am absolutely disagree about unlisted trip extensions , you don't want to extend the for over one week, so if you want to keep the customer you have to swap the car , as well after three days rental I am requesting 4-6 pictures about car condition to be sent over to me before the next extensions confirmed, but not more than one week at the time, otherwise you just lost control about your car safety condition , as well as some customers trying to use the Turo cars as a part donor try to replace the tires batteries turbos and more a lot of funny stories in my collection , so Car must be inspected every single week ( mandatory) , simply because car maybe breakdown any time , such as Oil leak , water leak , tire problems,brake problems, suspension problems, because people drive crazy, You have to keep Eye on car condition, Otherwise you going be badly surprising at the end of the story. 🤷‍♂️

Fair enough, but not my style - if you aren't allowing weekly rentals (in my opinion) you are leaving a lot of money on the table. A lot of guests want to keep the car for a few weeks at a time and having to worry about swapping a car is enough to deter them from renting from you at all. But if it works for you than it works!
