I remember my very first time running Sunken Temple. I was tanking on a paladin and bam, the Dragon's Call dropped in the end. I couldn't believe it. A freaking epic dropped and I mashed that need button. Think one other asshole (one of the dps) tried to take it from me, even though everyone else was like "let the tank have it. They need it the most" I was sitting there for what seemed like ever until finally it was placed in my bags :D Still have it in my bank to this day, and it's one of my favorite mogs.

Something you didn't mention about Ironfoe: It gives the wielder the ability to speak Dwarvish for a short period of time after triggering, allowing the horde to troll dwarves.

I've played since vanilla and I love this channel, it brings back so many memories which come back so vividly, like I can remember doing these dungeon runs and quests all of a sudden. For me personally having the best gear and consumables I could abuse in PvP/PvE really made the game for me, feeling powerful even if my class/spec wasn't powerful in a patch was a lot of fun, a lot of people couldn't believe a ret pally could beat them in duels for example, WoW did a lot of things right, I think everyone feels a certain attachment to a certain race/class

Old Sunken Temple was the best dungeon that was ever created. Remember doing it whole on warmane. 40yr old dude from texas who we had to wait to prepare diner for children, dude from Mongolia, Denmark, France and I. I've cried while we were doing that light pattern thing. Amazing.

Great video as usual. I love your vanilla vids. :D If you ever make another episode don't forget to mention Misplaced Servo Arm from Naxxramas though. It was a trash drop and could actually be farmed by a 5 men party but had a VERY unique effect: It had "Equip:" NOT "Chance on Hit" which meant it could be procced by offhand attack if you were using it in your mainhand and vice-versa.

Teebu's blazing longsword dropped in UBRS for our group off the last pack before General Drakkisath. I out rolled 14 other people and won with like an 84 or 94 roll. I played a Night elf hunter on Burning blade named Miev. I ended up selling it for 2000 gold to a Rogue and finally got to buy my epic mount. It's one of my favorite vanilla memories. : ]

When you showed up Sul'Thraze the Lasher i made the greatest grin in my face :D I have a long story with that weapon, dreaming to obtain it since i started to do Zul'Farrak ( that became my favourite dungeon): when i noticed that one of the blue swords that dropped had a weird on use effect i did my research and discovered that weapon that i wanted to use for leveling. This was in tbc, so it wasn't anymore a very good weapon, but i still wanted the cool effect of leveling with it. Alas, i never came to be, but while playing on a private server locked at wotlk i managed to obtain it as a paladin while still 50. It became my leveling weapon and i used it in skirmishes against the puny alliance who dared to stop me! Power to blood elves! >:D

With the exception of Sul'thraze, all the other weapons discussed had not a 2% drop chance but, a 0.2% drop chance. Their drop rates were increased (x10) in or around patch 3.0.

Teebu was BiS for hemo rogues until Naxx and Misplaced Servo Arm cause of it's slow speed (2.9) and the fact that hemo wasn't a normalized ability and was calculated based on actual weapon dmg so the slower the better. Quite a few dropped during the AQ gates opening cause the Anubissal Giants that spawned during the event had a relatively high chance to drop it.

I think we were all entranced with Teebu's Blazing Longsword when we first installed WoW back over a decade ago. Almost every weapon in the game looked rather basic and even later high-end dungeon items were rather plain. The only way to make weapons look more interesting was enchanting. And then there was this sword made of fire with purple text. PURPLE!!! It's like riding a bicycle to work and then a co-worker drives past you in a Porsche. You didn't know how he got it, but you were sure as hell going to get one too.

Elemental shaman with Ironfoe and windfury was on my BG team back then. He did a ton of ranged burst damage and if you were a melee and managed to get close he'd smack you in the face with the mace.

I think its kinda fun that the dwarf in the box art (with Teebu's) is named "hammerfall" with a lower case H seeing how wow forces you to have a capital letter at the start of your name unlike old runescape. Dunno if it was like that in vanilla (I started in BC) so maybe im just being stupid. Great video though :)

Deniz Altınsoy yes but is not ideal for shamans because you need 2h for enha and caster weapon for elemental, more of a rogue, warrior weapon.

Love your channel! I don't play wow anymore but planning to play classic again when it's available. I'd like to get into the lore more this time around. Do you think you could do a series on the zones of azeroth? Maybe go into the lore of each zone and the major quest lines explored in each one. Maybe the important items found in each one and lore related stuff. I know that's a massive undertaking but you have said you're open to ideas on your channel. I went for the Dragon’s Call insanity and dual wielding it was quite amazing as the whelps did a pretty good amount of damage at a long range and usually having 2-3 out at a time it helped massively in dealing with range classes that were trying to kite you. Combined with engineering pets and gadgets you actually could play a somewhat ranged warrior/rogue.

Battle for Azeroth made a lot of these weapons scale to the level that you are when they drop now, and have had their stats and procs altered slightly. Some of them now are pretty much best in slot for twinks. Sul'thraze proc for example, deals 800 damage at lvl49, and puts a dot on the target for another 800 damage. It has a high proc rate, and a good geared person at that level has like 4.5k health tops. People like to cry about twinks, but I'm beyond happy to see some of these classic weapons being used again instead of just gluing your heirloom to your hands.

Man i remember getting both the one hand swords from ZF and seeing that you could combine them. Then I created Sul'Thraze and it blew my freakin' balls off man. Not sure if I still have it lying in the bank of an old character somewhere but it was easily one of the coolest moments of my young Vanilla days all those years ago.

I had a good long laugh at that little snip of a lock trying to melee... my first hero in vanilla was a lock, and i still fondly remember some of the mistakes made along the way. like the first time going into a dungeon, and not knowing why these people were so mad at me for keeping my blueberry out! or getting lost in the same dungeon after dying trying to get back to the rest of them... yes that literally happened to me in the deadmines. ahh fun times.

New Teebu's Blazing Longsword coming in BFA. Looks amazing, you can look at its appearance in Single-handed swords. Its a world-drop probably the most unique weapon coming out of all of BFA.

I looted "dragon's call" while leveling, already in battle for azeroth expansion and I keeped it equiped all the way through outlands leveling, the emerald dragon spawn procs a lot and it does a good damage, also loved it for transmog
