As a Chinese, everything you talked about in this video looks so familiar to me. Even the terminologies are exactly the same. The only difference is that you have better environment and food. In my high school, not only we have to eat dinner at school, because there’s a mandatory night study session everyday, but also we have to sleep at the school dorm. The classrooms were much more crowded, no air conditioner during summer, and we have to do the night study there as well.

ninexi a.m the educational system is extremely messed up and the pressure on the students is unusually high. Going to school in korea frankly speaking really sucks. If you have to stay in school until 11pm or have additional tutoring after classes are over (which is really common in korea) you end up with basically no free time at all. What do you guys all find so great about that?? Everyone I see in the comments thinks it's awesome to stay in school for the entire day and I just don't get it. I've heard of many korean students who barely do anything but studying. When you're a teenager wouldn't you want to do other things?? This school system is very literally killing its students. I honestly have a ton of respect for anyone who gets out of it while still being sane, but I wouldn't even go to school there if I'd get payed for it
