I’m a 3 stripe white belt with long legs so I tend to love triangle from closed guard. And realized I have been doing it the hard way for so long! At 6:09 when you explain to keep your thing on the shoulder was GREAT TIP! I have been doing it the “wrong way” that you showed. BIG OSS, I’m subscribed.

This content is PURE GOLD. I've been hitting this position a lot while rolling, but tend to get stuck when I can't go to the triangle or the "Mir lock". Attacking the other arm is precious. Valeu, Tinoco!

I’ve been adding shoulder control from every angle imaginable and it has been transformative. Coupling this with transitions from umbrella grips to shoulder control. I’m finding that it is allowing me to create space and submissions that are almost impossible to stop once sunk in.

Love the arm switch, certainly going to use that. If you dont have the lapel grip for the punch choke I like pushing on the front deltoid, helps with turning the arm back into a straight arm lock position, and helps with getting the right distance with someone who has longer limbs.

"Thet won't see it COMING"!!!! Marcos- Sensei-- YOU ARE A PHENOMENAL INSTUCTOR, top 3 on the web IMO. I just 9HUMBLY) suggest ONE THING: please, Professor- PLEASE pass your thumbnail sentence (your "This is interwetins; come check it out!"-phrase) by ANYONE in your club that is a native speaker! Your SPOKEN English is great-- but don't make mistakes with your n"OPENER"-sentence-- ESPECIALLY when you don't NEED t! If I was there, not only would I join and train under you, but I'd also helo make SURE your KZbin "Eye-catcher" sentence was on POINT! Perfect grammar is what you want- AT LEAST for the opener!!! A small observation, but I'm a teacher (one who happens to be ADDICTED to your UNREAL content!) so I just HAD TO SAY SOMETHING!!! THANK YOU PROFESSOR FOR ALL OF YOUR INCREDIBLE CONTENT!!!!
