Great video as usual ! Will be 81 years in 5 days time, no regrets about working class (lowest class) in the British and American social class systems . I started very early in life as a young lad, the cancellation of my “war pension “ in 1952 was a blessing in disguise (9 year old) to find ways of my survival with my mum . Your advice is much more valuable than any other advice I’ve heard so far . Thank you Nischa !

one additional suggestion, think of a uplifting word or a phrase that you want your 2024 to look like and say that word/phrase a few times daily in 2024, especially in the moments when you feel unbalanced.

I’ve been saying the word ‘abundance’ all the time in 2023, my girlfriend thinks I’ve gone crazy, but I’m going into 2024 in the best position I’ve ever been in both financially and otherwise. There’s power in this suggestion it’s weird 😂

Mine is “alignment” for 2024. “Nourishment” was my 2023’s word and it’s surprising how much it actually affects/ frames how I look at my days and what I do. So this year I want my actions to align with my goals 😊

I don’t understand why so many people feel like they need to cut out their social life to peruse their business goals. Having a strong and healthy social life is probably one of the key parts that help me want to push foward in business. Granted, a lot of our friends won’t help us in a business sense but it’s our social skills and mental wellbeing that they’re going to assist with the most thus helping us. And if you think in 2024 that you need to start cutting off unnecessary people out of your life then think twice, your friends might not be the most business savvy people in the world but sure will add a lot to who you are as a person. So make a little time for them, it’s okay to go out on the weekend with your loved ones. Business is a social game and in business people like personally so go develop yours and don’t shy away from sacrificing a few hours each week for your pals and don’t assume that they’re a liability. If you’re reading this then message one of your friends right now and ask them to go out at the weekend, it could only be for an hour or two and it might help you. Your social life is one of your biggest assets!

Because most of the people doesn’t have discipline so their “solution” is cutting one to focus on the other. The same principle she explained in the first lesson.

There is wisdom in maintaining social ties! I agree. Friends and loved ones help to create a fulfilled life. I didn’t take the advice as to permanently give up your social life just that if you want more than normal life success you may at times have to put in more than normal sacrifice.

Good solid advice. I have learned over my life that all my achievements are fleeting if done for others approval. For many years now I've been setting short , medium and long term goals in all areas of my life. The mindset that made them satisfying and kept me passionate to achieve them, was that I was doing them for me. Even then, you are correct, nothing is permanent. I try to keep that in mind and make sure I enjoy my time with those important to me and build those memories.

Every single year I promise myself to do better, to be better, to live better... I have always failed to live up to my new-year promises and resolutions. But I have finally realized why like me so many fail to change. "Change and growth are on the other side of discomfort" as I was reminded recently. And not many of us have the skill to sit through that discomfort in order to achieve something. I now no longer want to make resolutions and grand plans for each new year. Rather I want to solidify 1 singe habit - to try to be a little bit better every day in what I consciously choose to strive for. Everything else will fall under the wheels of unsustainability.

Last year I chose to prioritize reading books and I did. But this year I went a step further and used the goodreads app to create a tangible goal of 50 books. I find that having the goal consistently visible is very motivating for me. Course, here I am watching a podcast rather than reading but I have already completed one book and I have to keep up with Nischa bc I recommended her to my son for finance advice once he’s ready for it.

Nischa, have you made any content on how you fit food, cooking, healthy living, gym or physical activity into your busy life/day, whilst also doing all the other things and achieving your goals? It's that time of year again when people have gained pounds at Christmas and are making New Years resolutions to get healthier on top of all their other ambitions for the year. It may be a good time to cover how you fit this in, if you haven't already. 🤞 Thanks and all the best for 2024.

50-30-20 95-5 80-20 Now I’m adding 8-80 These are numbers or percentages I learned about this year and hanging them up as art work where I can see them daily. I just created a new 2024 finances tracker 2 days ago and I’m thrilled about it: one dollar in or out, and all the 50-60, 20-30, and 10-20 Three Fs, as you called them, are automatically calculated as well. Thanks for the inspiration. I applied most of your tips into my life this year, or was reassured of previous implementations by your videos, which is as valuable. Thank you, Nischa, for making a difference in my life. By the way, I ended up saving over 20K this year, just for a bonus 😊 Happy New Year, and much love 💕 from Canada 🇨🇦

What can one give up to be successful (I'm guessing Financially)? This type of advice it seems good in the world we live in today. For me I've seen all of my friends being successful in life, gaining education, finding good jobs, getting married and being socially successful and then I can't help to feel down on myself because I still believe that I too become so and I'm trying everyday to be the same. But I can't because I can't give up my life, the goodness of my heart and my soul. And even though I'm not successful I'm happy everyday in my life and through my struggles I see That I have a life and greater things that's not material but are natural and my life is coming together. This is true happiness. I can't be programmed I have a life.

Brilliant video Nischa. I hope you had a great holiday season break . I'm particularly interested in the Law of Sacrifice that I'd never heard spoken about before. I've personally made many decisions on the basis of the sacrifices involved. If there's any chance, could you do a video about this concept and show examples of when it's been worth the sacrifice as well as not, and how you or others have navigated sacrifice that hasn't been worth it. Thank you for all you share 👌

I really enjoyed that bit as well, which in terms answered and helped me understand about religion. Love it! Althought its importante to keep social contacts I think, in the same way as it is to have a buffert of money, almost every rich person who have reached their goal who has a regret is that they didnt keep their friends and family close but sacrifised that... I do think its importante to do bouth! Work as wisely as you can with something you love or try to change towards something you want but also to keep the friends and family members close... For your mental health but also for when you get sick for example... Then no money in the world can hold your hand on the deathbed so do bouth. :p But try to be somewhat frugal in that too? Spend time you choose to put on the "right ones"... close or not close but invest in the ones that matter, dont take them for granted, sometimes it can be easier to think you need to do stuff with far away aqainances to be polite but its easier to say no to the closest one you dont have to be polite towards.... I think its importante to think about that and choose a bit frugality there too... Give 90% to the close ones and maybe 10% to the ones you are not close to? In some way. In the personal life. Its as easy as with the money to do 90% to unimportante things and 10% to importante things. :p Sometimes. With that said ofcourse be frugal with work time too and work for what you want, I do get the message and I do agree! Just lite a litte point to not over do it in that area! Happy New Years!
