Thank you for the kind words. As the weather turns better and better here I hope to get additional vids up showing the island from a boaters point of view.

Yamaha makes a great Starter Boat Package and once you have it you find that certain accessories are necessary for your application. These are just 5 of the least costly ones I added to my 2017 SX190. Update: Changed to Round Fenders and installed (2) Sailing Spring Loaded Cleats on the gunnels of the stern for the rear fenders.

I'm not making holes in my new boat.... Hell no

I still hold that as the first commandment of a new boat.

@@HawaiiJetboat I ended up buying a 2020 SX 190 and love it ... But strangely it over heated in the first couple of hours?

@@rickstorm8948 Just saw your comment about over heating. Question: Did the Alarm go off? And/or did it actually over heat? The reason I ask is that one time this year I was in really shallow water with the engine running and kicking up a lot of sand which didnt appear to be a problem and hadnt been before but I shut the motor off for hours and then when I stated it, the Alarm came on. The culprit was sand that settled in the strainer and blocked the pick-up. It didn't actually overheat but did trip the sensor. Havent had a repeat. -scott

@@HawaiiJetboat well we just got the boat in the lake for the first time ....we spent about 2 hours going up and down the lake I was adjusting the RPMs and wasn't driving them very high... but I was in the 6000 range and then I stopped and let it idle a bit and turned it off for 10 minutes...but when I started it back up it was beeping alarm which I had no idea what to expect and the message said something about temperature or over-temperature contact dealer or something.... I was like what the heck this is a brand new boat...anyway I'll let it rest for another 10 minutes again, then fired it up and the alarm came back again....so I shut it off again for another 10 minutes....after which I started it back up again and the alarm came back again as well .. but this time I noticed I could reset it ....so I went ahead and reset it ...that turned it off and then I kind of cruised back at about 12 mph... But the alarm never came on again. We opened the engine cover and my son touched the plastic piece on top of the engine and said it felt hot but there was no smoke or any smells of burning rubber or fiberglass..... it's the weirdest thing but it's going back to the dealer for a check up Tuesday. PS: tried driving back with the engine cover open but the engine is super loud in a painful way as if there were a couple of loose wrenches dropped inside.... Wow, what a loud racket, under the covers.... Do all marine engines sound so loud?
