My only issue about asking questions in a language you don't know is you most likely won't be able to understand the answer. This is still useful! But more study in at least numbers and directions like left and right would easily amend much of this. Asking if someone speaks English to begin with will probably save you a bit of time.

Grazie Mille, molto bene. Cao della California amica. U have a new sub :) I'll be going to Italia in September and am trying to learn some Italian. I speak Spanish so I find this very helpful since they are similar to me.

True, Italian is not difficult coming if you already speak Spanish! :D Glad you found this video helpful!

Ah yes it is a help! It makes visual words easier to translate, but goodness does it confuse me to speak. I keep trying to go by Spanish vowel rules XD

I grew up with Neopolitan dialect as what I know as Italian. I tend to reject proper Italian and cut everything down! I would never say 'Quanto Costa?' Just 'quanto' works fine for me.

The trouble is the reply / explanation will come in Italian. Then I’m stumped 😳
