I am yet to meet a Kenyan who regrets building a home unless they built at their rural while they live in the city. A home is not only a social capital ( source of pride, fulfillment, respect, admiration, etc) but it also appreciates and you get to say goodbye to bossy agents , their caretakers and sometimes unappreciative landlords. 2ndly I'd rather give children high quality education (which is not cheap!) than leave them inheritance. The rest I agree.
