Thanks Jeff, André & Elisa 🙂 I always feel a sadness when your vlog ends as it means it's a good one, but I only have to wait a week until the next! Glad to hear your shoulder is almost there, I thought it would have been 100% by now. They're finally starting me on cardio rehab next month so I hope I'll be fit enough to do PR1, if not then I might just do the hike you've done in this video as I've yet to visit Pico Ruivo. I've some recently developed spinal problems too but I'm not going to let that stop me if I've a couple of trekking poles to assist me! May I ask where your starting point / car park was for this please? I'm also hoping to be back on the Pearl for a week at the end of April so I'm interested in Shut Up & Eat as I'm sure it'll make a good vlog for my channel with an excuse to see you again my friend! nao jeff,. com a tempestade na madeira, o melhor é mesmo ficar quieto😂. eu tentei, não gostei da experiencia 🤣. no primeiro dia da tempestade Óscar, em junho 2023, achei boa ideia ir passear de carro... aquelas descidas para chegar ao funchal são como montanhas russas (roller coaster) sem travões... a saída para o hospital, aquela parte bem a pique a descer com chuva, saiu molho 😂

This week i' ll go to Madeira the third time and my greatest wish Was ahiking Tour fom the Arriero to the Picu! I've only been on the first viewing platform the first time and now you told us that the way has been closed! Could you please tell from where it is closed?! Can Iperhaps go half of the way! Hello Berit, as far as I know the hike is closed from the beginning to the end. As a professional, this means the entire hike is closed and I do not recommend going. If you want an alternative, PR1.2, the hike I did in this video, is fantastic 👍 All the best, enjoy Madeira :))

I might have just missed it, but did you talk about lightning at all? Is that something to keep in mind there or is it really not a worry with the rain that you guys get?

No, we get very little lightning here, nothing to worry about ;)
