I have been to Madeira on two different occasions. A beautiful island, friendly people. I was informed that the airport runway is short, pilots have to know how to correctly land there, if not cautious, plane could overrun the runway and end up in the sea.

On the last one you can see that the pilot bounced it then engaged the reverse thrust while the plane was still in the air causing the plane to kind of fall onto the runway

Yes, they deployed the reverse after the first touch on the runway, but the plane bounced in the ar again :)
