@@OXFOOTthere are a lot more people who have SUVs than toppers. Hopefully that equates to more views.

@@OXFOOTI’d appreciate it, I’m in the market for something more capable (Taco, 4Runner) and currently sleep inside a CRV

Hi Jason, thanks for sharing the different setups in the truck bed. Been looking at some pull campers, but the truck bed idea seems pretty nice and a lot more affordable. Look forward to your next video. 🏞

I’m actually looking at adding some pull campers to the channel. Reviews and stuff. If you know of any camper companies I should be looking at, let me know.

I like the truck camper thing, just looking for content people might want to watch.

@@OXFOOT definitely check out nucamp. Their "tag" teardrop is a nice upgrade from tent camping they also have the "tab" 320 and 400 + they are launching the new 360 which is an upgrade from the 320. Nucamp also makes 3 truck campers called the cirrus 620, 820 and 920. Their #620 cirrus truck camper is really awesome got to see it in person and wanted to take it home on my car.😂 Most campers are rough, made of cheap materials and falling apart almost immediately + they aren't cheap anymore either!!! If you want to show high-end you could also show the carnival and bambi airstream. Hope the ideas help.

Great stuff man Other couple of DIYish options You mentioned it briefly but alot of trucks now have cutouts molded into the bed so you can use dimension lumber and plywood You can get kids playmat foam yoga mats for super cheap from Asian bargain stores like daiso or 5 below and stack two to flatten out the ridges for less than ten bucks Last, Hest specifically makes the foamy as well as the sleep system The sleep system is a foamy on top of a pad that is very similar to the flared or an iSUP durability that eats up the bed ridges

Yeah the DIY options are great. That’s a lot easier than building out a whole bed if you don’t have the space or the time. A cut out should be much easier. And man, how could I forget the HEST bed system. I haven’t tried that one out yet but I really should do that. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I would also encourage you to investigate topper ez lift with a weekender package. Or even a nomad package that does not require the ez lift.
@OXFOOT3 ай бұрын
That’s a good point. I like what they have, I just don’t have it in the budget right now. Most of the setups I’ve talked about in this video would work with their product and you’d have way more room.

@@OXFOOT 100% I like all your ideas, just thought ez lift was worth an honorable mention.

Hey Jason, great video. I am curious to know your thoughts or if you ever herd of Topper lift? Seems like it could replace the need for a RTT. Would be cool to see your review on it given you have a 6ft topper.
@OXFOOT3 ай бұрын
I thought about it but is a bit expensive. It is really cool but I actually think I just personally prefer RTTs for what ever reason. I wish I could pinpoint it but I just like them ha.

I’ll see if I can look into it though because it would be nice for moving stuff in the bed around town.

A piece of plywood solves all those problems and is dirt cheap. Work smarter not harder and all that jazz.
