My husband and I just talked about our dreams this week. We did 5, 10, 20, and 35 years from now. It was really good!

Sometimes it just comes down to simply talking about it

Very true. So often in marriage we skirt around the issues instead of really sharing our thoughts, fears and feelings.

You have to be a team. Both people will have to compromise, but it will be worth it. My husband has gone from not really caring about it as long as the bills got paid, to quoting Dave and Chris Hogan!

That's awesome, Ginger! It's definitely something worth talking about and working through together. You can do so much more as a team!

Thanks for this video Rachel! I love the idea of thinking of money as a tool to help you get where you’re trying to go instead of a source of tension and fear of not having “enough”

That can be so tough to transition into. But awareness is half of the battle! Learning to look at money as a tool was hugely helpful for me.

Agreed! You're going to have different desires or thoughts about how to spend money at time. But if you have the same priorities, you'll be able to find a way forward!

The other day with Dave Ramsey, you said there are two ways to go to college and stay debt free. They were get a scholarship, or get a grant! Is that it? How does that work for the majority of college students?

You don’t need to be married. Me and my girlfriend have a house together so would be insane to not have joint finances and budget together.
