Very innovative dust collection system, I'm wondering if you put a plastic bag in the collector if you could save emptying out just from the bucket. Plus put all those modification in a kit. Ironically I like to keep about a bag of saw dust for filler. The modification make a huge difference.

Putting a plastic bag under a separator is a real challenge. All of the air between the bag and the collection container must be evacuated prior to turning on the vacuum, or the bag will be sucked into the cyclone. There are systems out there that do that, but you will notice a hose connected to the bottom of the collection bucket which is used to remove the air before the vacuum is turned on. That said, I hope miter saw makers spot this video. The notion of having the vacuum hose connect above the miter saw is brilliant!

You don’t need one 🤦 Travis sells the file for the chute so you can print it yourself and he sells the actual chute.

Worst case scenario, it's very easy to find someone to print something for you these days. Go to the engineering department in a college campus and ask 'can anyone 3d print' and you'll be fighting off nerds with a stick
