@MultiRainday4 жыл бұрын
Just keep your distance, if you lack training and reflex try dodging and covering your head as that's the only thing they know to hit, their brain doesnt know they can hit body shots. But for someone without training they will easily tire after bursting for many missed shots. I don't recommend parrying or counter punching if youre not fast enough or you'll be a victim of Mike Tyson's line which is "Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the head". Be smart and play safe, cover your face and head, sweep side to side. When you feel they are tired after a couple of seconds, their punches will be weaker and slower, time to counter. Also mix your footwork, be unpredictable. Instead of keeping distance all the time you can actually surprise them by moving forward suddenly followed by a hook to the liver or uppercut. Always keep your head low when dodging. Tldr you keep distance and going side to side while covering your head and face then surprise them with forward movement with a hook to the body. Don't listen to this bullshit kicking them to the legs or pushing them with front kick. These are for experienced fighters
@MultiRainday4 жыл бұрын
For opponents who keeps their distance but keeps on throwing jabs and straights, Just go lower mike tyson style while getting near and hit their body with a hook or an upper cut to their chin. Follow it up with the moves and combos you know to bring them down. Most people don't expect attack to the body and they don't know how to defend it

The first street fight I ever got in when I was 13 I took a guy out with a toe kick. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, I just saw him coming at me and he was a lot bigger than me so I instinctively kicked him in the stomach and my foot was pointed. Took the wind right out of him.

The first fight I’ve been in, it was in 5th grade against the biggest guy in the class. When he went for the first punch, a straight, I dodged and ended up behind him. Then I wrapped around his neck and kicked out his knees. I felt cool, but I feel like I could’ve executed it better if I got time to prep. And I now realize that if I did that wrong, I could’ve injured one of us.

The techniques look effective enough from a short distance. I noticed for the CHECK HOOK and SPEAR ELBOW when you are hitting the opponent from either the right or left side with the hook or elbow, the lower right or left rib side is exposed to a possible hit. Like how do I keep that part protected for a possible knee or fist hit in that lower part side of the ribs? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Brian Cherera Lift your lead knee up. I love to use my knees to protect my body. If they throw a punch or roundhouse to your body and land it on your knee, they will be VERY hesitant to throw more body shots
@Primape924 жыл бұрын
Note: with that first choice, that check hook, I'm a shorter dude. So I'd think if I stepped back from someone blitzing, it'd most likely maintain the range the opponent wants. So I'd think instead of stepping back and throwing a lead hook I'd probably wanna step IN and throw an overhand. Also would there have to be any other considerations for a southpaw fighter in that instance?

Hey Shane I got a question. But first of all, nice video as always; great content! But, this is for mma/competition. I just got curious; what about in a street fight? In street fights, it’s very common for people to just rush in 100% and throw shots continuously without rest. How do I deal with it and make a move?? Any general tips to look for? Any angles I should be trying to pivot or make? Any specific hooks or punch strings that I should be utilizing..??
@kvee68405 жыл бұрын
All these combos go out the window in a real fight unless you actually train/spar and are used to getting hit. If you're really worried about protecting yourself learn to wrestle. If you're still in school, try out for the team. Striking is fun, but being able to throw people around and control them on the ground is much more valuable in a street fight, rather than gambling with striking.

Excellent video, just have a suggestion for the next time to make it seem more "realistic". Do the whole movement, simulating an intense blitz as in a real fight, instead of just using jab and cross (which is barely a blitz) slowly. Blitz implies the opponent doing a lot of strikes while he moves forward.
