Unfortunately, Gmail search doesn't currently support searching for emails with blank or empty subject lines. Here's why: Empty fields in Gmail search are interpreted as containing the text "(no subject)". So, searching for "subject:" won't find emails without a subject. There are workarounds, but they're not perfect: Search for the content within the email body: If you remember some specific details from the email body, you can search for those keywords instead. This might help if the email content jogs your memory about the sender or other details. Review Sent emails: If you think you might have sent an email with a blank subject, you can specifically search within your Sent folder.

the bit about adding a plus sign in your emails is quite interesting. Can you change this on subscriptions you have already joined? I am thinking you would need to unsubscribe then re-subscribe with the altered gmail address?? Would that be correct?
