after taking out the stopper on tube products i’ve used really small brushes to reach all the corners/sides!! it gets every last bit of concealer/gloss/whatever and using product to the point of an almost completely clean tube is possibly the most satisfying feeling 🤤 this was such a fun twist on these kinds of tips, i normally see the opposite like “use products up faster”
@veronicalim16764 жыл бұрын
when i cut my sqeezy tubes in half i always fold the on edge to fit into the other half, when it comes to lipstick and lipbalm i use a lipbrush to get the rest out or if i have long nails i use them hihi. you can also use the spatula and dig out the rest of the lipstick put it on a spoon and warm it with a lighter untill its liquid and them put it in another container and just use your fingers. just some tips i have done. i love that im not the only one who cares about not wasting product. often products are so spency so its dumb not to get out everything. loved the video and you looked gorgeous.

If you have small empty eye cream or sample cream containers, don’t throw them out. Wash them and put broken make-up or remaining bit of make-up, like foundation, in them. Don’t buy containers when you can repurpose the ones you already paid for in other products. It also helps out our environment

In regards to the cutting the tube hack, you can store it in the same container, you just have to clean out a bit the inside edge of the top part and you can close with it the lower part, you just have to squeeze one into the other

About cutting tubes open to get to what's left - I cut much lower than you did in the video, clean the top half and then I use it to close the tube back by simply putting it over the bottom half (just squeeze the bottom part, slide the top part over it, and voilà!) What you get is a smaller "tube" that you can store upright :)

I’d asked you last week about cutting opening your FAB primer. I have one of the plastic things you fit on plastic tubes and push everything down on all my non metal tubes; I’ve been amazed at how much is still in the cap area even with one of those. I actually push together my tweezers and then jam them into the side of a stopper and kinda wench it up. I find it pretty easy to do it that way. I think companies count on us to not do things like this so we’ll rebuy sooner.
