I've really relished this video. It's very useful thank you so much ❤ I have a suggestion, could you please make a video about Brexit, and the most important words to retain. Sometimes I watch BBC news to impove my English and I hear MPs saying "the eyes to the left...the nose to the right..." could you please tell me what it means? Thanks again for the video and have a nice weekend 😘

Thank you so much! This video is super helpful! It's perfectly organized!! I thought scoff also meant to express an emotion of disapproving of smth or being not ok with something in an arrogant way??

In Nahuatl, unlike other languages, there are many ways to describe "to love". Even there are words about doing things with love, with your soul and so on. Nahuatl was the language of the mesoamerican empire, the Aztecs, by the way.

Hello! I love what you guys do and was hoping you can help me with some advice. I was born and raised in London but left at 18 to live in south america where I experienced teaching english due to being native and learnt teaching esl and feel in love with it. I then did the CELTA course at the british council. I'd like to have further education related to this career or some sort of english degree or something possibly online or going back to the UK if nessesary. Thing is I m now 40 years old ( but feeling young and happy). I'm hoping something short. I'd like to go back to school because I feel I need it in order to sound more articulate when speaking and writing. I've been told that reading also helps. But I'm not a very good reader. Do you have any book recommendations, advice, or can you point me in the right direction please?

We can also say 'To gulp.' Of course, there are many synonyms for the verbs featured in the lesson. A simple internet search with 'synonyms for...' and then the word will reveal them. Verbs double up as nouns in many cases: 'Fine scoff' and 'Tasty munch' or even 'Nice munchies.'

@@LoveEnglishwithLeilaSabrah Sabrah, yes, we've got much more similar words. I think they derive from Latin and French, which is why we share almost the same words. Other thing is that we adopt (btw adoptować) from English because we watch a lot of American movies so we acquire some English words to our everyday language. Additionally, I work in IT so English notions have already become a technical language so we combine Polish with English and vice versa so sometimes it is easier to utter yourself in English 😃🇬🇧 However, as we speak internationally, we tend (btw tendencja) to speak AmE. A general issue with Polish language for foreigners is that they assiociate Polish with Russian. It might sound similar, but believe me, it is like you don't understand Dutch. Polish has many English and German (historically) influences but English has significantly influenced us since the communism collapsed in 1989. It is generally thought here in Poland that if you speak English, you are fancier, cooler, and sophisticated 😎🇬🇧 Ok, enjoy holiday, Happy Easter 🌻🍀☀️🌷💝🇬🇧
