50 BEST Model 3 & Y Features in 10 Minutes

These are 50 of our favorite Tesla features that I believe apply to every model, but definitely the 3 and the Y, and they are in no particular order.

2. Sentry Mode in general
3. Disable sentry mode at work, home, or favorite locations (save battery)
4. Green light chime
5. Save video recording via honk or tap of the camera icon while in drive
6. Joe mode
7. Driver profiles - save ALL settings and logins
8. Create a guest driver profile
9. Log into all streaming services - log in, saves. Different profile, different login

12. Hold left scroll wheel - set to a custom control
13. Blind spot camera
14. Auto turn signals
15. Reboot the screen - hold both scroll wheels
16. Wipers - don’t go through menu, tap wipers once, use quick pop up menu
17. Navigation - add a stop to a destination
18. Custom lock sound - choose from selection or add your own via USB
19. Light show, again can add your own
20. When reversing, mirrors fold down
21. Energy graph from Tesla menu - more accurate, real-time range data
22. Switch between D and R without hitting brake (under 5 mph)
23. To quickly change climate or volume, don’t have to tap, just swipe
24. On climate, if you set to auto, it’ll keep the cabin at that temp, whether it needs heat or AC
25. Keep climate - keeps cabin at temp, if you’re going out quickly on a hot or cold day
26. Dog mode - puts a message on the screen
27. Send destination to car from app
28. Rear seats recline (model y) middle headrest can be adjusted
29. Set home & work to navigate to each by just a simple touch
30. How to check tire PSI (swipe, in-car menu, app)
31. Sync your google calendar - any addresses, you can navigate to the address
32. Calendar shortcut - tap the time on the Tesla menu
33. Parking brake - just hold the park button down for an extra second or two
34. Move air vents, but also split air vents
35. Max security - glovebox pin, pin to drive
36. Low on battery - slow down, can stretch the range a lot
37. Car wash mode
38. Always navigate to a supercharger, it will auto precondition
39. Unlatch door from app
40. Emergency handles
41. Defrost car from the app
42. However, can set the cabin temp from the app
43. Open trunk, set to where you want it, hold button - it will open to here every time
44. Steering modes - only difference is the force to turn the wheel
45. Chill and standard or sport mode
46. Tesla does actually have radio
47. Audio apps you don’t use, you can turn them off so they’re not all bunched up as extra icons with all your other apps in the menu
48. At-home charging use reg outlet- most people don’t need an upgraded at-home charger
49. Autopilot - adjust speed by 1mph or 5 mph
50. Search function in settings if you can’t find any of this

that's a very nice comprehensive list, the only thing I'd add that I don't see mentioned on line, is that if you have youtube tv, it can accessed through the youtube app. Just click on your profile and scroll down you'll see the youtube tv on the left side.

Nice video. The number one feature that I love in my refreshed M3 LR ( I believe all Teslas can do it ) it is something so small and simple yet it makes the experience so much better and you need to try it. Just take your seatbelt off and the car goes into park !!! Mind blown. I love it. Next feature is the OTAs it constantly makes my car feel newer than it already is. Just with software I now have an automatic opening trunk when approaching it !!! Not with new hardware people just software what other car manufacturer does this 🤔🤔 exactly. I love Tesla and will only get Tesla in the future 👍🏻😎✌🏻 Phoenix AZ

@@vegasteslafamily you have no idea , no wait you do as you have one 😁😁, after 3 months I absolutely love this car!! It puts a smile on my face every time I go for a drive. Yes the ventilated seats come in clutch especially now we are experiencing the typical " oven " heat Phoenix is known for. Like you being able to adjust the climate from the app is also a game changer !!! It is truly something else to not have to go into a 🔥 car ever again. My car is ridiculously fast I raced a crotch rocket and yes I won !!! The guy was a good sport. He approached me and said man your car is fast and I said thank you but it's not even the performance !!! This car is amazing.

Do you have issues with having one driver profile for two different cars?

Not at all, everything saves to both. The ONLY thing is the custom horn sound. I have mine saved via USB. Jo uses the quack in the model Y lol. The horn saves to the car, not the profile, so I get the quack in the Y

Nice so your profile follows you to each car. What about seat and mirror positions though. I assume they will need to be different for each car?

12 v oulet is not enough for overnight charging at all, it will 15-14 to go form 40-80 percent

@@vegasteslafamily Yup, I got away w/ 15a/120v garage outlet for like 6mos before I got 240v outlet installed... worked fine for daily commutes, though was bit of a hassle for roadtrips recovery, needed superchargers. Could have gotten bit more than +3-5mi/hr if I used 20A outlet/adapter...
