Adare Manor is golfing heaven. Holes like the 12th and 13th are incredible and the feeling is like you are a million miles away from civilasation. I love the transition of the course from early parkland dominant features to almost links like features out on 5, 6, 7 down to seeing the castle lay ahead on nine before the back nine progresses into woodlands and back out again. The condition is amazing, the course is playable for scratch to high handicappers but still has it's challenges. A beautiful course.

I played on my home track about 2-3 times a week, or a 100+ times a year. Not the best track, but playing with my friends. But about twice a year we would get about 20 of us and go on an away golf trip, still in Florida, but usually a few hours away. For me, I enjoyed the opportunity to play at somewhere special. PGA National, Bonita Bay Club, etc. Always nice to play an upscale course and get pampered a bit, if just once or twice a year.

Adare manor is spectacular. Played it Monday for 300 euro and was worth every cent as a once in a life time experience. As close to Augusta national as you could get in Europe.

Mini Driver , nothing like a high end golf course experience , played TPC sawgrass/Trump Doral Blue Monster a few times from the meet and great at the door to the caddie experience to the pro shop service nothing like it for a memorable( expensive) day out

Low-budget golfer here. Typically pay anywhere from $30-50 US per round, which pretty much limits me to public courses like munis and some semi-private clubs. The small public courses are never in as good of condition, especially in a hot climate. During summer months, grass is often thin and wilting due to water restrictions. There are a lot of divots that the greenskeepers simply don't have the resources to repair. But that's okay, at that price I expect it. And there are some courses that are definitely better than others while still staying in that price point, which makes for a pretty good round of golf without a high price tag. However, I have also played Torrey Pines and Indian Wells out in California, and there is a marked difference in quality. Torrey Pines is extremely well-kept, despite being a public, city-owned course. The high price tag makes it a special experience, but one that lives up to expectations. Indian Wells was much the same way: bright green, well-kept, and beautiful, even though it's smack in the middle of one of the hottest climates in the country. And the amenities are world-class: GPS-enabled carts, a comfortable clubhouse, great practice facilities. They're not my everyday courses, but I'll always have the experience of playing them and enjoying the luxury of doing so. In that regard, I feel like it's not really an apples-to-apples comparison; I enjoy both, for their own reasons. The cheaper round is moreso about playing the game of golf for me, while the expensive round is moreso for the special luxury experience.

I pay 100 bucks a month for unlimited play at my local course. Certainly not even close to the condition of the two courses you showed, but it's an unbeatable price. It's a par 68 course, so only 1 par 5 on the course 5 par 3s 12 par4s.

The extra money you spend on golf rounds should only be spent as the experience of playing these courses is so memorable. For example, you would perhaps want to pay 375 euros for Old Head golf links (one of the worlds most spectacular clifftop courses) as you get the scenery, the views and the amazing facilities. You wouldn't pay 375 euros for your average muni
