The pilots in the x-ties were just clone commanders. This is relevant as when the UCS Republic Gunship came out, they commented that the commander had yellow markings, which made him double as a pilot. The fans gave them a lot of shit for it, and I appreciate them nodding to it here.

in the space battle you can see a clone commander (the yellow ones) are the empires pilots. This is most likely a reference to when they released the UCS Gunship they said that the clone commander could double as a pilot because kids would only remember a yellow clone flew the ship. Now LEGO can claim that they are correct in saying the clone commander is also a pilot.

All the little easter eggs and references to Star Wars were Hilarious. Sig, Dev and Yessi were all Great Characters and Jedi Bob was Awesome! Also Thank You LEGO Star Wars for making Darth Jar Jar Canon 😂 And The Landolorian at the end was So Great we need a Second Season after that cliffhanger. C-3PO becomes a bounty Hunter or mercenary for hire. He exhibits all the abilities atypical of the usual C-3PO. It’s like seeing HK-47 in a modern Star Wars story as HK droids were protocol droids and hunter droids too. The rebuild the galaxy also inverts most of the canonical alignments yet still pokes at the canon sayings. Most notably Jedi Master Palpatine saying unlimited power. Also there’s a certain smuggler who shows in an entirely different outfit. I don’t mean Han Solo in a Greedo outfit. I mean Lando in a Din Djarin outfit.

Two things I noticed: 1. Servo has a finger print on one of his bricks in one of the shots (episode 3, at 14:09). So it looks like he has been put together by hand. 2. During the final episode, when there is the fight between the rebellion and the empire in space, one of the pilots is a clone commander (episode 4, at 9:36). I wonder if it is a reference to the drama behind Lego putting a clone commander in the UCS gunship and mentioning that the commander could double as a pilot.

Also General Grievous is voiced by Matthew Wood. He was the voice actor for Grievous in Star Wars The Clone Wars. He’s very prolific in Star Wars projects overall. Sam Witwer reprises Maul albeit as a charming rogue. Ross Marquand who voices Han Solo does have a sound alike quality to Harrison Ford. Phil La Marr another prolific voice actor reprises Kit Fisto as Darth Kit Fisto. Lots of Sith Lords aside from the primary antagonist Darth Dev - short for Devastator. So much of Rebuild The Galaxy twists familiar characters and places into something different. It is a very well built story.
