Your practice is good. Some of us are stiff and need a little more time to hold some stretches for more opening. Moving fast between poses doesn't give stiff people enough time to open.

My yoga has improved massively in the last few weeks after starting hamstring exercises. I got a slam ball (but you can use a bag with rice for example) and the hamstring exercise showed just how weak I am on my left compared to my right.
