This actually worked for my 2017 Jeep Compass 2.4L. After driving about 20-30 miles it basically smoothed out the gear shifts and allowed my jeep to accelerate better. Did not add any hp or make my car any faster. Just allowed me to accelerate quicker with the hp I already have and took out the sluggishness that all jeep compass owners complain about lol.

Gave mine better performance little fuel increase I think I got 3 more mpg but I did my due diligence it worked for what I needed it for it’s not crap by any means now the instant hp from eBay is nothing but a light show car and driver magazine did a segment on these chips and spitfire was in the top 5 I believe k tune and bully dog got #1 and 2

I didn’t see any difference until about the 1500 1600 mile mark winter if disconnecting the battery before plug n play will make it kick in faster

It was a joke. I’ve been in a tundra with the 5.7 and 33s and it got 10mpg. Pretty hard to get 2mpg.

Don’t buy those chips those are scams. If you want to save fuel, add more horsepower, and do fine tuning for your modifications you have on your truck. Sh** I just bought this for my GLK 350….. when I bought mine they had me put in the make/model and engine size. They say they tune the chip for every different engine but I haven’t put the 50-60 miles they recommend. Have you tried any other chips??

Just got one for a 2L 4-cylinder NA engine. seems to have smoothed up the throttle/acceleration a bit and gave it a little power but my fuel consumption is the same. A better option is to get a OBDII port to laptop connection, get a tuning progran and fine tune it yourself these chip tunes seem real general.

You have a 99 is your maintenance on your truck up to date? Spark plugs coils? Timing belt jw If that’s why your getting such bad gas mileage. I have a 06 tundra 180k I was thinking of getting this too.
