I REALLY wish they'd do an entire podcast 100% in character, there's a show called "Trailer Park Boys" and they started a podcast years ago-but they've done the *entire* thing 100% in total character, and it's exponentially better than if they weren't. Not saying they should have that as a permanent setup or anything but for one episode that'd be a great idea and just plain perfect 👌

@cahan5572 жыл бұрын
To be fair, I don’t think its a particularly uncommon thing for people to have a benign tumour at some point in their life that causes almost no change to your overall health and goes away on its own without any treatment. Of course you should want to know if you have a tumour but the stress of finding and knowing you have a benign tumour is probably more damaging to your health than the tumour. I know this isn’t an at all rational approach to medicine and healthcare but people are nothing if not irrational

Dude I don’t know WHAT is happening, I’m trying to creep on this episode, but for some reason no matter how many times I restart it or let it buffer, after the first series of ads the audio gets like so absolutely out of sync for me that it’s like impossible to tell what what’s happening. It’s driving me nuts cause I can’t find any comments about this so I know it’s just my phone being a jackass in some capacity. I wanna CREEP, guy!

I laughed so hard when Glenn and Rob were talking about death and uploading their being. Then sharply after giving all the listeners an existential crisis they immediate segue to Better Help.

In terms of mental health, you should absolutely do something like that episode where they all barged their way in to get analyzed by the same therapist

My doctor saw a mildly elevated number on my blood results from an ER visit the night before. Nothing serious, nothing alarming to literally anyone else who saw it. He said "Go back to the ER right now, you've never had this number elevated on a single test, something's wrong." My kidneys were failing. I would've died if I'd just gone in when I started feeling sick. So they should use that guy. That's the guy who knows his shit. He's like the nice version of Dr. House.

Also the interaction between Meg and the phlebotomist was amazing. She asked (me paraphrasing) "can I just call you a nurse because I am self conscious about not being able to pronounce it" and she says (me insinuating) "no, I am a professional and I am a phlebotomist" and then Meg decides to just call her by her name which to me was respectful.
