Wow! This might be the best episode of the podcast so far -- the G.L.E.N.N. system and the recreation of the "Charlie w/beer" scene were immediately top-tier moments. Kind of fitting that the three of them pulled this off solo when the original episode, also a top-tier episode, was also beset with absences from the on-screen players. (But of course, Meg's editing -- the cracker during "Dead Air," showing G.L.E.N.N. as it's being decided on, ending on a high note -- is not to be discounted.) Loved all of this, the podcast continues to be a treasure.

Just wanted to say that I'm really grateful that you do this each week. I usually have this on in the background while I'm grading papers, so sometimes I miss hearing/seeing certain things, and don't have the opportunity to quickly catch exactly when it was said, so this is a great way for me to find that spot without having to do a ton of searching. I've read comments from a few videos, where people gave you shit about it, because some people just can't not be assholes for five minutes, so thought I'd respond, and say, "Thanks, I genuinely appreciate the time, and effort you put into this, my friend." ☺

@@mariannecontrino6297 Thanks for being so kind! I'm quite busy with university and the episodes drop at a bad time for me, so it takes some effort to do timecode lists whenever I can and it can be disheartening when people write random rude replies. It's also extra effort if the guys discuss certain "adult" subjects because youtube seems to hide comments with certain words (and then I've got to edit around my descriptions but still try to have accurate timestamps). Every other podcast on yt seem to have fans who do timestamps in the comments if the video doesn't come with chapters, but 25+ episodes in I didn't see any here, so I thought I'd try doing them! Anyway, they help me out when I want to rewatch, but it's nice to know that other creeps find them useful too :)

32:40 This whole conversation between my favorite TV alcoholics makes me feel ashamed. Not counting my late teens/early 20s where I had some kind of physiological resistance to alcohol that gave me an interminable tolerance (which is nothing to brag about, it was frustrating and expensive to get drunk, and socially awkward to drink with other people who get trashed off 4 drinks.) Even in my adulthood with several autoimmune disorders that make binge drinking a gamble every time, I've killed a whole case by myself in one sitting a few times just in the last couple years. Usually there's a mitigating factor like drinking at sea level after living more than a mile high for years. And I certainly got drunk. And I was shocked at how much it took me to get drunk in relation to my normal consumption... but it was done nonetheless. And especially the comments about 2 beers an hour and slowing down seem precisely opposite of my experience. The first 2 go the slowest. After the buzz kicks in you start killing beers faster and faster until jail or unconsciousness cut the party off. This is not just my personal experience, but my experience with alcoholics as a bartender in a city that has no concept of "overserved." Maybe this is why I try not to drink anymore.
