I totally understand her... I’m 29 years old and I haven’t either. It’s not like I haven’t had chances (I’m a 6’2 decent looking, athletic build, clean cut guy) but I was raised in a similar fashion & I believe in the sanctity of marriage. I grew up in a single parent family born out of wedlock & never wanted for myself what I saw around me from others. Sure being a virgin today comes with ridicule but my advice to her is to ignore all the critics because ultimately it’s your life & choice to live with. The world makes us old-fashioned people feel weird & ashamed for not giving it up, trust me people who know and appreciate you will applaud you for your stance. I avoided a lot of problems that old friends ran into & I was more free to live my life and learned about myself more to be in a better position for marriage. It will all be worth it in the end because you didn’t compromise your values and you will have a bond with someone you can be proud of. Kudos to her for sharing her experience.
