500 bhp Cosworth found in garage and Dans Cossie broke again!!!

I had a RWD white Sapphire Cossie...on an E plate...bought for £5700 in 1992...sold it 18 months later with a blown head gasket plus a few small scars for £3000. It was standard to look at..not even an aftermarket exhaust...but was supposedly running 350bhp.Dont ask me what had been done to it..if anything...but shit...it was quick...damn quick.My God was that a banging 18months...I ragged the crap out of it and really did abuse it(it was a gift..so I didn't appreciate it like if I had paid out for it...wrong I know.). I was 26 and won't ever forget that car and the fun I had in her... Ive had some nice quick cars in my time..but there's something veeeeeery special about these motors!! Why oh why did I sell it....

Guys those are two beautiful cossie's. This was when Ford really knew what performance was. Cannot get better than a cossie whether that be the Escort or the Sierra. Although have always had a soft spot for Sierra's. This was an era when cars were made to feel like you were connected to them, not like the modern fords of today where the computers do everything for you. A real drivers car. Nice one lads.

the is200 lads over here in ireland and northern ireland all run Pulsar turbo's and propper thash them all the time, theres a white r34 4 dooor running 800hp running a pulsar turbo and the TD offraoders run them

This happened with mine ,, took my spare wheel out put it back in again I some how had switch fuel pump off in boot. Switched back on and way to go 😄👍

laugh out loud...me too!! but that was in 1992ish...we had no internet to troubleshoot. Took me 2 hours to find that poxy button!!! Its a fuel cut off in case of a rear ender I believe.By throwing the spare in the boot..it triggered the tripswitch.
