You didnt get stuck when you have to call someone for help then your stuck lol. I've owned 3 of these they are very hard to get stuck in snow. Mud on the other hand gets a little iffy

I have a 98 Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 and it’s very hard to start after sitting over night . And I replaced the carb and it ran fine but a few days later it’s was really had to start . To you have any suggestions on how to it fix it ?

I have a KLT160 ATC. Its basically the same as a Bayou 185! (with one less wheel!) Very hard 2 find parts for a KLT160 so I get parts for a bayou and they bolt right on! ( I am restoring the KLT!)

@@drift_eazy3944 I am not sure....It might work if its a bayou 185...i bought an OEM cdi for my klt of ebay. I would recommend doing the same. there is a OEM cdi on ebay for 140$,not in the best shape. I can do some research for you if you want?

I "working" lol on a 95 honda foreman 400 really solid quad but my sister crashed it I repaired the front rack and bumper just need to fix a electric start issue and brakes! Solid quad before the crash

4:45 I dont think that's engine oil smoking out the pipe. Just think its condensation because its so cold out. All my 4 stoke's do that until they warm up. Just though i would trow that out there as a thought.

No you cannot get it stuck for long. That is a great machine for sure. You got a good buy on it too. I know you had to fix it but it was not too terrible I guess. Tire chains would make it almost unstickable. That would be the best thing to have during deer season you ride it to your deer stand or close to it and then pull the deer out with it.

My dad had the same machine. I used to hook up a trailered 20’ boat to the Bayou and move that probably 2500 pound boat and trailer with that old Kawasaki in low range. They ride rough...but tough as nails and great crawlers.

Purchased one last summer for $200 no running. Put a battery and Cdi hasn't stopped sense. I do have a problem maybe you could help with. It starts right up but takes forever to warm up like 15 minutes. As soon as you give it gas it bogs and dies. Any Ideas????

Hey I own a bayou but its a 2x4 and for the choke move it slow because the cable will come of the carb and wont run if needs the choke.

I just got my 2001 4x4 bayou going and I've had it out in some deep snow and have yet to get her stuck. Doest handle too good on the road but I'm sure that has alot to do with air pressure nice trails your riding

Oil sight glass is for making sure there is oil but always go by the manual when adding oil on change to ensure correct amount.

i would like to see you get a crf250r because i bought a 2004 crf250r which is the first year they were made and i bought mine blew up but completely rebuilt the whole engine and that bike is super fun powerful nimble and light but it would be cool to hear your opinions on it sence you havent had anything with a crf250r on your channel

Back in the day the tail lights were manual had zero attachment to the actual brakes. I've had it out with fish and wildlife about my trike and why it didn't have a functional brake light but has a manual tail light.

i have the two wheel drive, haven't farted around in snow but, i have a VERY aggressive back tread, i didn't see a whole lot skipping through the video that i can't do, in theory you have more performance on the table with aggressive tread tires. for actual 4 wheeling

I have a 89 bayou 300 has quit abit of noise coming from top end. Valves adjusted and chain is fine. Compression release valve is fine but still has this knocking sound. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Do some research into the secondary clutch. Operates off the gear lever.

Its having the same issue as my grizzly 600. The lights should come on at the same time when you put on lowbeam or highbeam the one light goes on which means something wrong with the wiring. I had to fix the wires on mine.

I'd change lightbulbs first, then check wires though. The filaments usually break and do the same thing
