I just got these on my 2019 F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 (baby 3.0L PowerStroke). I got the LT version. My 500 mile review: SO QUIET (and smooth on the road) compared to my old Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I have zero complaints in wet weather - but I have the same torque spin potential in the wet. Glad to hear you are having the same success and happiness with them. They were expensive, but I'm very pleased!

@B_Rod yeah, most modern trucks can easily spin the rear wheels. Doesn't matter if it's dry wet or snow covered.. lol

Glad you dig the tires! The rock ejecting thing happened to me when I had Recon Grapplers on my last truck. Must be a NITTO thing. Mudflaps and wheel well liners will take care of it

Thanks for the update on the tires. I just had a set of these put on my truck this week. (275/70/r18 116T) I don't have any long term use yet, but so far they are just as quiet as the Michelin ltx at2's that I had previously. There seems to be zero difference in mpg on mine either. (previous tire size was 275/65/r18)

I’m interested in this exact size and load range for my 1500 Silverado. How’s the ride quality? I currently have Recon Grapplers on my truck in the same size but in Load Range E. They are pretty noisy and kinda rough riding. I didn’t anticipate the load range E to be this rough of a ride. Literally bought them 3 months before Nitto released this G3 so I was kinda bummed about that.

i went with the 3/4 ton GM truck with the 6.0 because they are known to be pretty bullet proof and routinely go to 300-500k miles with good maintenance. I don't know how dodges or ford's 3/4 ton gassers stack up, but the GM small block V8 has had an awesome reputation, especially the iterations that don't use AFM/cylinder deactivation like the 6.0 and pre 2007 5.3
@Adventureswithmike1
@Adventureswithmike1 15 күн бұрын
@LamelKendrick yeah, the Ford F250 with the 6.2 gas is probably the best motor. For the 3/4 and 1 ton truck hands down they are completely bulletproof and so are the transmissions.I wouldn't suggest any dodge.. the Chevy and GM 6.0, are actually good motors. Biggest downfall is crummy transmissions, but if you do maintenance and service, they should last a long time...
@LamelKendrick
@LamelKendrick 15 күн бұрын
@@Adventureswithmike1 yeah the torque converters are 👎🏼. but if you change the transmission fluid and monitor it, you can avoid the major transmission failure or full transmission replacement and just change the torque converter, also the 6l90 transmission in the heavy duty GM trucks are a little bit better. but not on the level of Ford, from what i hear. So, yeah Ford has the best motor and transmission combo. mid-late 90s and early 00s GM trucks used to be that, but they regressed pretty badly when they went with cylinder deactivation and when they got into the 6 speed transmission with cheap torque converters.

Nitto is proud of those tires the G3s are 100 dollars more per tire over the EXO Grapplers I run its 400 a tire for EXOs the G3 is 514 that's Canadian in a 275/70R18 size on a 2016 F350 srw gas. I had a bad experience with Nitto tires on another F350 had dura grapplers ended up with issues with a broken belt tire was thumping. Went to Toyo CTs didn't have any problems. Tried Nitto EXO grapplers as they worked out well on a company F350 I drove, put them on my current F350 I own now it feels like I have a tire with a broken belt issue. I like the traction of the EXOs work well in the snow, ya they make a little noise. They are quieter than the Nitto HD Grapplers you guys can't get in the USA they are essentially a Nitto version of the M55 Toyo. Where I live tires don't last we are lucky to get 30,000kms (19,000 miles) they are down to the wear bars. I've had Michelin LTX MS they didn't last long either.

dont you put higher psi in the rear? my 2500hd sierra (new truck i just bought) recommends 60 front 80 rear...not sure i'll go that high in the rear...maybe closer to 70 because i wont be hauling 2 tons of rotors any time soon, although i'd love to have access to dense metal loads like that eventually. Anyways i'm pretty ignorant about truck tires...i definitely want to move up to a more puncture resistant 10 ply but will wait for a deal. Also your truck reveal video has to be coming soon.
@Adventureswithmike1
@Adventureswithmike1 15 күн бұрын
@LamelKendrick yeah, my little F150 calls for load range. E tires that are 10 ply. And they recommend 60psl of air in the front and 60psi in the rear.. and as for my old 250, it called for 70psi in the front and 80 psI in the rear. It does make for a harsher ride, but if you make it any lower risk having a blowout. You should always go by what the manufacturer states on the door sticker of the vehicle for tire pressures for safety purposes. And also, if you run too low under the recommended psi, your tire pressure monitor light will come on.. and I should have the new truck by the 15th of December. I will have tons of videos out. I'm hoping to end the year strong

@@Adventureswithmike1 Thanks buddy. I have a Cooper STT Pro in Rubicon and I had a hard time getting up the mountain. When I was coming down, I suddenly hit the brakes and the car skidded and skidded from the back and I had a hard time stopping.I always do more research and ask more questions than my older brother, and as far as I understand I don't have such a problem with Nitto.
@Adventureswithmike1
@Adventureswithmike1 15 күн бұрын
@leventbuda2294 yeah, a lot of them really luggy mud tires to not do good on. Snow and ice. But if you do a lot of extreme snow driving or in really icy conditions, I would consider getting a designated winter tire. It's easy to get another set of rims and have them mounted and put them on during the winter it will make such a big difference. Most time, you wouldn't even need four wheel drive
