Have you thought about investing in a granulator to process the wires?. Imagine turning up at the scrapyard with a bin full of copper chips with no air in between. Failing that, you could make a machine to chop the stripped copper in order to maximise your bin capacity.

$100.00 an hour ain't nutting to sneeze at , it ad's up . The end of the year total will be awesome . Your minimum profit per purchase will average out and if you stay close to that you'll be doing great . Making a huge profit every deal you make just won't be reasonable , it's what the total for the year that shows y'alls hard work was worth the effort . Keep up with the prices being paid and buy as cheap as possible and knock them in the head when you sell . Copper is King and I read an article today that Copper is already a highly sought after product and is going to increase more each day . Get what you can and build a nest egg . You still need to find some place you can buy or a place to convert into a shop to work out of and having living quarters . Best of luck Derek . Awesome video .

Hey man just a quick ?, IS their enough scrap out there that you could get your hands on to where all your doing is going out and picking up loads and bringing it back to the shop for Steve and the other guy you hire alot to strip and break down? Maybe get your second trailer up and going and just swap out trailers when u drop a load off and have them load the other trailer with scrap ready to go to the scrap yard. Might be a good way to always have your money turning over for ya. Just a thought I had man. Thanks for the great videos

Unless you’re an idiot, which you clearly aren’t, you’re gonna take the time to strip it. It’s gotta be some pretty shitty insulation - like that old skool house wire insulation, gumming up everything on the stripper it comes in contact with - in order to pass up a few more hours of work, for 2-4x as much payout as if you were only being a transporter.
