50008 & 20007 Engine START & Cold SMOKEY Departure from Kidderminster 24/05/24

See H&H loco 50008 'Thunderer' started up at Kidderminster before heading off south with 20007 in convoy in advance of this weekends Branch Line Society tours.
A few other sleepy locos on depot at Kidderminster after a busy Diesel festival last weekend.

It is a "Clayton" - Class 17, the sole survivor of the 117 built in the early 1960s. They had very short lives.
