Idk if you'll see this Cam because it is a while after the video was posted, but I must say I think this was the best erg I've ever seen you have. I'm gonna write a lot here but if you've got a little time I think it's worth the read. I've watched I *believe* all of your videos, and that's not an exaggeration. I think in this you're honestly the best shape I've ever seen you in. Body fat wise on your legs, ease of flexibility with the hips and tops of the thighs at the catch, your breathing, the efficiency of your sweating, the smoothness of the pickup, even with the little arm grab it's more of a slow squeeze than a grab and especially around the front and back end the rhythm and distribution of power of the arms is perfect. Your leg finishing position on the drive is super even, which is different from your erging when you did sweep, it wasn't exactly the same. Everything points to improvement and efficiency. Last thing I wanted to mention is that you've really cultivated a feeling for working around (or with) the rhythm of the erg. It shows throughout the whole piece but it shows especially well around the final sprinting stages. Your sprint would typically be a throw of power and trying to find splits in the faster recovery time and especially pull of the arms, but in this sprint you really squeezed the back and arms, keeping them straight and collapsing them for extra power just a beat behind when you usually would, and the connection and final power that is distributed to the flywheel is easy to see. You stay in the same flywheel rhythm that you cultivated over the span of the piece and it works, it works beautifully. You Sprint with the flywheel and not against it. I wanted to accentuate all these great things so you're aware of them if you weren't already and to say keep up the amazing work, whether it's a combination of diet, more time in the single, stretching, lower rate stuff when you erg, coaches, whatever it is keep doing it cause you look like you're at the top of your game. Massive fan and if you've read this far I really appreciate it I hope you enjoyed my analysis. The duel camera set up to see your tech from the back and side angle is amazing as well by far my favorite cinematography of erging I've ever seen on yours or anyone else's channel. 👍👍 Big love from UW

Wow what an insane time. I just started rowing 2 months ago after a pretty long period of inactivity and my last 5k was a 2:03 avg split and you just looked like you were cruising during that last sprint. I just raced at head of the hooch in Tennessee in a novice 8 and even with a river current and a shortened course to 4500 meters I think you still beat our time by like 10 seconds. Absolute beast you’re my new dream physique.
